Talisca waiting for work visa to join Wolves - from twitter

goo.gl/8HoUeR

10 Aug 2016 23:35:42
At least that's a verifyed account so looks hopeful.

11 Aug 2016 06:57:50
told he had got it also pix of him at brum airport if real.

11 Aug 2016 07:16:14
Prob ones when benfica played sheff wed, he was still in Portugal last night.

11 Aug 2016 08:17:33
According to Ojogo (Portuguese news paper/ website) we're signing Talisca for twenty million pounds - the catch is it is just for one season. Why sign a player for that amount to be out of contract at the end of the season. See the below translation

"FA accepts the average enrollment request in Championship (second division)

The English Football Association has accepted the request of Wolverhampton to sign Talisca the Championship (second division) . GAME found that the average Brazilian is now only waiting for the issuance of work visa, which must be delivered by the end of the week to head to England in order to carry out medical examinations and sign the contract.
The link to the new club will be four or five seasons. The player, however, has already warned that it will remain only one season at Wolves, which will be used as a kind of "bridge" to an emblem of greater expression, this time the Premier League (first division) .
Talisca will join the English football with a permission to work "young talent", given the high value of trading: about 25 million. "

11 Aug 2016 08:46:44
Wot aload of bs mix.

11 Aug 2016 08:53:13
That's a little lost in translation! It will be a sell on clause recouping the £20million if we don't get promoted, not he can go on a free transfer 😂.

11 Aug 2016 09:04:44
Stop posting nonsense - why would we be getting a player costing us £20m for just 1 season, how old are you, can you not think to yourself this is a load of bs let me not bother post this crap?

There's so much I want to say to you but it will just get edited out, just don't post if you don't have something positive or sensible of funny to say.

11 Aug 2016 09:13:07
Go to the beeb football gossip section - there is a link available there.
What is of funny to say mean?

11 Aug 2016 09:13:23
Wolves are 2-1 favourites to get Luis Alberto would be a good signing.

11 Aug 2016 09:20:01
Stop shouting people down when they want to say something, Goldfinger. I know what he means - it's the fact his contract will have all sorts of stipulations about being able to leave after 12 months, that's all. It's obvious he only wants the premier league, why do you find this so hard to understand?

11 Aug 2016 09:43:57
You can be quiet Wavid cause you say the most crap

You would know what he's saying wouldn't you

I don't shout everyone down at all most people say somethong interesting or funny or actual rumours

You for one haven't got a clue about anything and believe everything you read

To say we are going to buy a player for £20m player for 1 season just makes me mad.

11 Aug 2016 10:21:55
Everyone stop shouting!
Why don't you just enjoy this time of optimism and excitement whilst it lasts. We are Wolves fans and we will be miserable again all too soon!

11 Aug 2016 10:36:36
^^It's a forum about different views, not just yours GF.

11 Aug 2016 10:40:19
Everyone stop shouting!
Enjoy the excitement whilst it lasts.
We are Wolves fans. no doubt the misery will return soon.

11 Aug 2016 09:58:01
Here is the link to Talisca at Birmingham Airport

11 Aug 2016 10:42:18
BBC carrying the story about Talisca gives me a little more hope on this saga.
They were the one that broke the Takeover story the day it actually happened.
Let's hope he's as good as he thinks he is.

11 Aug 2016 10:51:11
How do you shout on TEXT lol.

11 Aug 2016 10:52:59
Ok I'm going to stop getting wound up, I'm really p'd off that we haven't brought in more players in time for the game against Reading and all our concentration has been on this damn Talisca who we didn't even know about 3 weeks ago.
I believe in Fosun and I think we are going to do very well this season but the anxiety for the good times to begin in the pitch has got me all ready to erupt like a damn volcano.

If I've offended anyone with my ranting I apologise

Just hope we get some defenders in soon or you'll be seeing me on Central news getting arrested at the training ground.

11 Aug 2016 10:58:25
Where is that story Stu, on their website?

11 Aug 2016 11:06:05
Work Visas can take 3-4 weeks for approval. Talisca could still be waiting for his permit to be processed. This is the UK immigration system, they are slow! How long has the application been in the pipeline, we don't know. But rumours of the transfer have been raging on since mid-July, so you could argue the work permit is nearly ready?

Add the fact that's he will also be applying for entry clearance for his wife and his new born child, there's a lot that needs to be issued and rubber stamped before he even books the flight.

I believe the pregnancy and birth has been the major factor in the delay.

As his potential new employer, Wolves will probably give Talisca all the time he needs. For a young man to become a father and move house to a new country, all at the same time, must be very stressful.

11 Aug 2016 12:01:40
LOUD NOISES.

11 Aug 2016 13:02:25
I haven't been to Wolvo in ages, do they still sell chocolate and fizzy drinks there?

Seeing as there's never a tomorrow in Wolverhampton and only ever today, can people be trusted not to consume all the chocolate and fizzy drinks in one go and make themselves sick? Have they become hyperactive and manic from having all of the chocolate and fizzy drinks at once, are they on a sugar trip? And might this explain pokemons up a tree? Maybe we've heard nothing from Mikey since because he's in sugar rehab? Do some need to join him?

11 Aug 2016 13:28:40
Goldfinger,

Go to BBC Sports - Football- gossip it's there.
And for fecks sake stop shouting, your's scaring me and Scarring Wavidsmiff. 👍😭😭👍.

11 Aug 2016 19:58:52
Thanks Stu, sorry Wavid and anyone else it's just weird being a Wolves fan with Billionaire owners and having rumours in the paper of us buying £20m players

I want it all now

I'll wind my neck in a bit lol.

11 Aug 2016 23:29:21
Anyone wonder why if Talisca is that good Benfica are seemingly looking to offload him? Also with all the shenanigans of a new baby etc and a presumed lack of pre season training he might just be ready by December so long as he doesn't get injured! Pin hopes elsewhere I'd say.

10 Aug 2016 17:08:45
Wolves are front runners for Alfie Mawson a 22yr old CB for barnsley.

10 Aug 2016 18:01:33
From watching highlights of our games so far and all home games last season one thing is for sure if I was manager I would sign a new keeper and a commanding CB or two as not sure our current crop of cbs are good enough but I know ikeme isn't up to scratch.

10 Aug 2016 18:49:20
The f a have reportedly accepted wol request to register talisca he is now waiting for work visa to b granted so he can fly to England.

10 Aug 2016 18:56:53
Tbh i'm not to keen on talisca anymore, his goal to game ratio the top league he's in is about 20 games 3 goals, which is suppose is not bad but is it worth us getting 1 expensive guy when we could have a couple of cheaper blokes that aren't quite as good? I don't fancy talisca getting injured and we are stuffed.

10 Aug 2016 19:02:58
There r 2 or 3 wol fans on here think we r very impatient but I think it's the opposite we've been very patient us older wol fans been waiting 57yrs for league title 56yrs for f a cup appearance 36yrs for league cup that's patience we need this as soon as possible some of us r running out time and we want the glory days back.

10 Aug 2016 19:20:28
And whilst i'm having a bit of a moan, I watched the jorge mendes ronaldo interview on youtube, he has a really weird view of the price of players, saying ronaldo could be sold for 300mil, sounds like a door to door salesman mugging people off.

10 Aug 2016 19:27:32
we got a league title 3 years ago?

10 Aug 2016 19:59:07
3years ago?

10 Aug 2016 20:10:52
Mawson is League One level player. This looking like all talk and no action from owners. Remember SJH enabled David Jones to buy Ince, Irwin, Miller . class team.

10 Aug 2016 20:27:18
Ricardo Carvalho linked. very old centre back, player coach. Mendes player, free agent after Monaco.

10 Aug 2016 20:43:05
Guys stay patient we are in talks with many targets and in a good position to sign 3/ 4 good pros in the next two weeks.
Be patient it's coming.

10 Aug 2016 20:55:28
3yrs ago what's that Micky mouse title.

10 Aug 2016 20:59:37
the realist is that from your contact or is it from your own point of view?
I am being patient I do believe talisca will sign for us.

10 Aug 2016 21:11:14
Wolves r outright favourites 2 sign 6mill pound rated luis Alberto from Liverpool ahead Sevilla Norwich and Fulham fingers crossed gr8t signing.

10 Aug 2016 21:21:34
Totally split on this one 50/ 50.
Wanna hear the guy speak, wanna stop the hype.
Think Zenga wants it put to bed,
And think its holding us back.
Think deadline day cameras for once will be outside the mol.
Hold tight WAW.

10 Aug 2016 21:38:52
Alberto will return to Spain 100 per cent.
We have no chance.

10 Aug 2016 22:39:47
We have every chance.

10 Aug 2016 23:08:07
Where are you getting your players from John Kevin thelwell lol.

10 Aug 2016 15:37:33
Set to sign Alexis Scholl from Benfica. Left back.

10 Aug 2016 16:51:12
just a rumour at the minute not set to sign.

10 Aug 2016 10:02:25
Wolves very interested in signing woodrow from fulham. However ongoing talks with Nugents agent have gone well.

10 Aug 2016 12:00:10
Cauley Woodrow grew up a Wolves fan and is related to John Holsgrove.

10 Aug 2016 12:02:19
No thanks for Nugrnt we can do better than that.

10 Aug 2016 12:13:48
If Woodrow is half as good as John Holsgrove we should sign him.

10 Aug 2016 12:43:26
He's carp.

10 Aug 2016 12:56:23
I just read Talisca to Liverpool, going on loan to Wolves. What a waste of time, why are we bothering with this idiot?

10 Aug 2016 13:02:09
Where did you read that?

10 Aug 2016 13:10:42
The Talisca deal definitely includes Liverpool, so I presume that if he were to sign for us, we will have to give him back in 12 months after he earns his full visa. Didn't know football was about doing favours?

Considering this seems to be the case, it should be Liverpool's duty to sell us Alberto right now in return. That would be fair.

10 Aug 2016 13:14:22
It's just Twitter garbage, Goldfinger. The guy on there has now changed his mind and says it's us again in a 4 year deal with 'many stipulations'. yawn. Talisca and Liverpool obviously want eachother and are looking at anything to get around the problem. Personally, I wish we would just drop the idea. It's making us look like right mugs.

10 Aug 2016 13:23:28
Talisca signing gone on so long I'm not sure he wants 2 join us if he doesn't he should say so and we can move on OK his wife having baby but he could have signed before that he had every opportunity.

10 Aug 2016 13:24:58
This whole Talisca thing is all about Mendes and the people at the top doing 'favours' for each other. It's the one thing about modern football which makes me sick. The truth is that the player doesn't give a crap about Wolves, as long as he gets his premiership visa to enable his move to Liverpool.

{Ed001's Note - why do you make this stuff up? If Liverpool were interested in him, they would just buy him and get a work permit for him, like they did with Grujic. They do not need Wolves involvement in any way.}

10 Aug 2016 13:34:34
you know nothing wavid, all you do is post twitter rumours on here, get a grip mate, talisca may come he may not none of us have any idea what is actually happening. All I know is the Benifca president was at the game Saturday and his wife has just given birth, postitive signs and reasons for the delay, if we don't get him, we will find sum1 else :)

10 Aug 2016 13:46:59
Well said George, I'm tired of useless comments.

10 Aug 2016 13:50:20
Just read more of your comments Wavid - what the hell do you mean a full visa lmao

He only needs a working visa haha
Unless he wants to become a citizen here if that's what you mean.

10 Aug 2016 14:05:26
You all know what I mean - when I say visa, I mean the sacred work permit. Nobody from the premiership will take him because he can't get a work permit for the premier league, otherwise Liverpool would have done. This, editor, is what was said before the link to Wolves. Remember?

Don't ask me how it works exactly, I'm just fed up of reading Liverpool every time his name is mentioned.

{Ed001's Note - except Liverpool never made any bid for him and could more easily get a work permit for him than Wolves. It is a points based system now, based on transfer fee and wages paid. As Liverpool did with Grujic, they would just need to pay him a higher salary than they would otherwise do. You are reading lies and getting wound up because you believe them.}

10 Aug 2016 14:15:15
goldfinger he's the man, the man with the midas touch :)

10 Aug 2016 14:16:50
It's most people's understanding that the player can't very easily get a work permit for the premier league but can for the championship, thus the Wolves move. I can't imagine the press making this up over the last month, so suggest you do your research, too, editor.

{Ed001's Note - I suggest you stop reading morons in the press and listen to someone who actually has experience in this area and stop being a tit. You are embarrassing yourself. The press have made up bull for years and it takes a special kind of fool to believe them!}

10 Aug 2016 14:21:35
The wol board might b thinking if they pay 20mill for him if he is that highly rated and become top Brazilian player he could worth millions more if we get to the prem and establish and mendes will get a big pay out and others will benefit to we don't really now how good he is.

10 Aug 2016 14:25:04
no they couldnt. you have to play a certain amount of games for the work permit and going to liverpool he would not be guaranteed to play the set amount to qualify.

{Ed001's Note - are you not reading? They made the exact same promises to Grujic to get his permit, if they wanted Talisca they would do the same. It is not them that have shown interest this summer. This is pointless, none of you have a bloody clue, all believe lies on Twitter, you all deserve to be made fools out of. I am done trying to explain how dumb you are all looking. You are turning into a laughing stock with your talk of how rich the club is and how you are going to be signing 50 players a day.}

10 Aug 2016 15:14:15
You certainly have a way with words sometimes, oh great one. Calm down, , before you blow a blood vessel.

See what Talisca is doing? - the evil little man is trying to kill us all! Let's just hope this rediculous transfer has fallen through by next week, for everybody's sake.

10 Aug 2016 15:15:26
Oh my god will you guys stop listening to people who know nothing on Twitter and wise up. The bigger the deal the longer it takes. We have no idea wether this deal ever on or not but if it ever was it will take time. Especially as his wife has just given birth!

It's embarrassing reading some of your comments on here and the complete ignorance of some Wolves fans is unbelievable.
Let's face it, the future is much brighter now and I'm certain more money will be spent over the next 3/ 4 seasons but use your brains please.
The Ed is correct and the impatience and lack of understanding from lots of you is a joke.

I'm sure we have spoken to dozens of players who do not want to play in the championship but that's football for gods sake!
If you don't know what you are on about please don't bother posting, it's just pissing me off.
Get behind the club and the team and support the lads on the pitch, stop bloody moaning!
Sorry to those sensible posters.

10 Aug 2016 15:24:52
this is the latest with his wife I was in works hours after my son was born faster if 20million was being payed for me.

10 Aug 2016 15:37:37
The Talisca deal is off. He is sick and tired of all the medicals he's had at Compton over the past 2 weeks (and jet lag) and is staying put at Benfica.

10 Aug 2016 16:07:49
Mr Editor, here is my theory. I'm not ITK but I know soccer agents can work in devious ways.

I wouldn’t get too worked up about this Anderson Talisca deal. This is no ordinary transfer. Even with our new owners we are not going to be splashing €20 mil plus on a single player just yet. If we're PL bound in January that might be different.

What might be going on is something similar to the Tevez/ Mascherano deals ten years ago. They were plucked from Corinthians in Argentina and parachuted into West Ham. Everyone said, WTF is going on? There’s no way the Hammers could afford them, they were sort of renting them. It was all an artificial deal by Global Soccer Agencies to put Tevez and Mascherano into the European market place. Maybe it helped with work permits? The Mendes agency might be orchestrating something similar with Talisca, even though it might be in the championship initially.

{Ed001's Note - those deals are no longer allowed in European football. I suggest a trip to the Manchester City site to read the post Ed002 put on their rumours page regarding Rulli. It deals to a large extent with some of these issues. If Liverpool wanted him they would buy him and loan him out, if a work permit really was an issue for them. They are doing so currently with another Brazilian player.}

10 Aug 2016 16:34:59
Isn't this page a bit of fun? Part truths, part rumours, part fiction and many posts that make me smile. These posts may be absurd but they are usually made by fellow football fans, Wolves fans. Why get so agitated as to call football fans 'tits'. Apply some patience mate and a modicum of respect for fellow football fans. I have no beef with some of the the things you say just the way you say them. Our fans are excited and no more idiots than any premiership fans.

{Ed001's Note - oh believe me this page is by far the worst across the 70+ sites we have.}

10 Aug 2016 16:37:12
Exactly Ed, Liverpool have a young Brazillian called Allan who is being loaned out for that reason. Talisca is totally different.
Ed, do you know if the Luis Alberto link to Wolves is genuine/ likely or just more nonesense?
Cheers Ed,

{Ed001's Note - genuine but he wants to go back to Spain.}

10 Aug 2016 17:04:06
john was a class players cover a lot of ground without rushing like bobby moore.

10 Aug 2016 17:11:22
Don't want Talisca at our club. How dare he put us 2nd behind the birth of his child. How dare he care about the welfare of his partner and newborn baby. Disgusting behaviour. No commitment. Don't need him. rimmerp, we're your wife and child in the same country as you when your child was born? Taliscas priority must be his family so let's not slate him for not wanting to either be away from his child or for uprooting them to another country.

10 Aug 2016 17:28:37
Didn't we have something like this at one point with Kenny Miller, missed a match or 2 that we lost? Normal life, as a family club it's really something we should respect. And Walter doesn't seem to just want employees, he seems to want the team to be a 'family', which I think is the right way. For that to be real, we need to understand and accommodate our players as real people with real lives.

10 Aug 2016 17:48:28
Sounds like FA just approved work permit, there you go pant wetters.

10 Aug 2016 18:47:51
Yeah just working visa to be sorted now.

10 Aug 2016 19:03:16
lads, calm down with the Talisca bit eh'lets be honest very few of us had heard of the kid 3 weeks or so ago, work permits, contracts, visas, etc take time to work through, think about the hoops you go through as a citizen of the uk to get a passport'ive crossed the eds path on nother site and he's a knowledgable type, he ain't throwing stuff out to get ya biting, listen to the guy'you might just learrn a littlee about what's going on.

10 Aug 2016 19:31:52
Cauley Woodrow was mentioned earlier and for those who don't know his father is Martin Patching.

10 Aug 2016 20:41:55
Today tomorrow the next day who really knows. Just sign some players

Big investment! Waiting!

10 Aug 2016 09:53:32
We are closing in on a deal with Luis Alberto.

10 Aug 2016 10:12:02
Hope so.

10 Aug 2016 10:13:26
Bring him in to the 'Wolf Pack'

3 defenders too pls.

10 Aug 2016 10:16:08
Wolves 2/ 1 favourites to sign Alberto and 6/ 4 favourites to sign Nugent. That's 13/ 2 the double. Anybody having a flutter?

10 Aug 2016 10:49:46
No chance.

10 Aug 2016 11:18:05
Why not we have every chance we have the backing now.

10 Aug 2016 12:44:49
Here's the thing. In theory, we could sign and afford to pay the wages of most, if not all, of the players in the Premier League.

So, currently every player linked to us is potentially a new recruit, it's just some are more believable than others and only a few will be convinced to join us while we sit outside of the top division.

The obstacle we can't remove is that of status. For every signing we are capable of funding, we need the player to accept that they may be playing Championship football for between 1 and 2 seasons. We require humility from ourselves, to accept our current circumstances, but more importantly, require it from the players we are pursuing - it's the absence of this characteristic in the modern footballer that seriously undermines the pool that we actually have access to at this point in our development.

This leaves us shopping in different markets; divided into loans and short term deals, for those who wish to hedge their bets or use us as a stepping stone to (currently) more prestigious clubs; Aging players looking for one last challenge (or pay day) and those players who are not immediately recognised as top talent, but worth a punt.

Imagine a successful promotion campaign and your problem morphs again, this time it's not status that will discourage potential signings but the ability to stay in the Premier League. Then it's the intangibles, the draw of London over the regions, Champions League football etc. etc.

Sometimes, despite the money available you just can't spend it, and in the mean time, every WUM, mischeif maker and daydreamer will continue to link us to anyone and everyone.

Oh and one more thing, every rumour could do with a link to the source. "we've been linked to. " or "I've just heard. " just don't cut it any more.

10 Aug 2016 13:49:35
Dans la Lune.
Good post. As you imply, the fact that we have new owners willing to spend does not mean we can or will sign every player we take a fancy to. It's not as easy as all that, as you've explained admirably.

I agree that every rumour should link to a source as many rumours on here are made up. Even sources can be faked, like setting up fake Twitter account as source.

10 Aug 2016 14:10:43
post of the year for me well said dans.

10 Aug 2016 09:24:45
We've been linked with Benfica B left back Alexis Scholl, and on Twitter we've been linked with Obafemi Martins.

10 Aug 2016 09:40:54
Martins is 154 years old.
Fact.

10 Aug 2016 09:43:43
Martins was a really good player about 20 years ago lol

Must be Obafemi Martins Jnr

I'll take any LB right now, has he got 2 CB mates that he can bring with him too.

10 Aug 2016 09:56:58
Martin's is as old as god's dog now isn't he.!

10 Aug 2016 09:58:46
Who is this Talisca, and why is everybody so worried about him. I had never heard of him and I expect most of you hadnt either.
Are we just going to be a feeder club for Benfica and Mr Mendes.
I suggest they spend Fosun's money more wisely and buy a defence!

10 Aug 2016 10:12:55
It is obvious. Go for Balotelli on loan!

10 Aug 2016 11:16:29
Balotelli is rubbish he's lazy doesn't look interested and has a bad attitude.

10 Aug 2016 12:21:26
One day Balotelli will look back on his career and realise he might have made a lot of money but wasted his career. Remember when he played for Man City against us. He sulked while he was on the pitch then got himself sent off. Even his team mates and his manager were sick of him that day.

10 Aug 2016 12:24:55
Our Italian manager might get the best from him.
It would send out a great message of intent as well.

10 Aug 2016 15:20:36
Apprently martins is 31 years old!

10 Aug 2016 15:55:33
Yes but martins is a much better version of Dicko and Nartins had amazing form last season so why not.

10 Aug 2016 22:33:06
Would not want Balotelli he's the biggest plonker ever

Martins 131 not 31 lol fake passport.
