God help us if this big 6 plan goes through. It is absolutely disgusting. What do the fans get out of it? Nothing. Fewer games, no League cup to give development games to young players. The power has been held by the so called big 6 and this makes it a stranglehold. Does anybody think Fosun will stick around when the chance of getting into the big 6 disappears and they have no say in anything. Total stitch up.

I'm disgusted by EFL chairman Rick Parry. Yesterday he said that the PL had months to come up with a plan and didn't. Hang on, for one thing the PL DID have plans. But why I'm disgusted with comrade Parry is that the Yankee's Liverpool-Man U plan was first drafted in SECRET in January, and, 16 revisions later, was only published the other day. That plan took 9 months, so why the cloak and dagger stuff, when the PL was being transparent? Excuse my French, but it amounts to a fait accompli at best and a coup d'etat at worst. Vote against.

{Ed001's Note - Prick Parry is a clueless gimp. Anything he thinks is a good idea is almost certainly not: Rick Parry The Embodiment of the Peter Principle. You should always vote against anything he backs!}

2.) 13 Oct 2020 16:36:46
Thanks for the article Ed001. What a debacle Parry was as Liverpool CEO. He's the Alan Partridge of CEO's with an eye for how much he can milk out of it. He actually makes Moxey's time at Wolves look great.

{Ed001's Note - he is possibly the worst of all time. He is no better for the EFL so far.}

3.) 13 Oct 2020 17:26:30
That's an insult to Alan Partridge-Ah-Ha!

4.) 13 Oct 2020 17:28:30
You seriously have to worry though, how western democracy allows clueless gimps such as Parry, Trump, Blatter and Johnson get to shape and potentially screw up our World.

5.) 17 Oct 2020 15:42:00
SQ Trump has the worst gimp mask, or is it!

That was a shocker, but we have lost Jota, Doc, Jonny, Marcal and Podence. We have had no pre season and whereas Nuno takes months to play new arrivals, if you arrive this week you get a game.

We are going to have to bide our time till all this beds down. Other teams that played in Europe and had no real break are also not in best form. However this situation needs action. Why are we so slow in the build up? Stoke and WHam got the ball up the pitch and bang it into the box, it isn’t rocket science is it?

Boly needs to come over to the left and the donk play on the right. God knows what we should do with Traore. Midfield is overrun. But apart from Neto they all look short of fitness.

Wild: excellent post - lots of good points!

2.) 28 Sep 2020 16:39:19
I'm inclined to agree with bringing Donck into the CB again. Saiss and Vinagre together is a disaster.

Just hope Marcal is back sooner than later. Any word on that.

3.) 28 Sep 2020 17:00:41
I agree 100% Boly much better on Left, so Either Donck of KI needs to be on Right, I though Ki looked good in his 20 minutes, maybe add Donck to Midfield and Play Neto? podencs with Raul?

4.) 28 Sep 2020 19:03:46
The one thing I did notice from last night, was the lack of pace amongst the back 3. Antonio is quick, but not the quickest we'll come up against. With balls over the top we need someone to be able to compete with these players.

5.) 29 Sep 2020 08:52:45
Where is it going wrong? More importantly what are the causes?
1. Pre-season ( lack of it)
2. International duty of most in first team few days before new season
3. Transfer of key team members (Doc and Jota) to top clubs for double salary. This likely destabilised the squad
4. Uncertainty until window closes - further transfers possible, consequences as above
5. New players coming in on big money - may cause disgruntlement in the camp
6. Bedding in new players
7. C.V. issues - isolation from family in Portugal, Spain etc will impact morale. With only one Englishman in first team Wolves are severely affected. The players are very young men and human like the rest of us.
8. Lack of European football will likely Adversely affect morale and will impact performance
Conclusion:
All of the above will affect performance in early weeks of the season. Nuno’s man management skill will be key to recovery.
Sadly Wolves fans and our community in general have suffered more than many in recent months and the last thing we need is a failing football team, we should brace ourselves for a bumpy ride in the coming months.
Personally I have great faith in Nuno - he will pull it round but patience will be required.

6.) 29 Sep 2020 10:06:20
North bank - good thoughtful post - tks.

7.) 29 Sep 2020 13:06:36
Where is it going wrong ; maybe selling experienced players and bringing in players for the future who we may or may not make a profit on or maybe selling players who were no worse than players coming in or maybe playing players out of position or could it be having two wingers and two wing backs careering forward three at the back we concede the midfield to the opposition where we only ever have two players, Raul’s probably asking the same question and wondering what happened to the lads who were creating his goal scoring opportunities for the past couple of seasons, if body language is anything to go by it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s the next one on the move.

8.) 29 Sep 2020 13:31:29
Some interesting points above but my real concern is the season not finishing. Any side in the bottom 3 risks a sudden death relegation this season and that may be the reason for so few draws at the moment.

9.) 29 Sep 2020 14:32:25
Some good points above, Boly back on the left.
Plymouth wolf your comments reference pace I totally agree they did a number on our defense, but normally we read the game far better and give ourselves some space.

I don't think anyone came out of that smelling of roses it was a car crash of a game.
I said after the Sheff game even though we had a flyer of the blocks, we are going to need time because we look at 6's and 7's at the moment and it was rammed home.

10.) 29 Sep 2020 14:35:52
Wildwolf, We beat sheff u and everyone was saying who needs pre season. Then bang. Stoke very poor. Man city, hammered by the hammers. Nuno wanted reinforcements and he's had them. See how long the Chinese chopping block stays aloft.

I just want to comment on the management of the club. We have lost Dalrymple and Thelwell and Jeff Shi has taken control of everything by the looks of it. What impact has this had on the poor summer transfer window. We don't have cover for injuries and while the kids may come good in time we have got weaknesses all over the place. So after Nuno saying we need to recruit the E&S are saying we won't be splashing the cash, so I I'm not sure what's going on. Nuno has started to get that worried manager look about him, and maybe Jeff needs more people round him to make the correct decisions going forward.

Wildwolf. You are adding weight to the observations I have made on this site for several months. Some people just don't see the way we have gone backwards and the continual regression we face.

2.) 06 Jan 2021 12:52:02
Wolves never discuss anything with E+S that useless rag just makes up stories for clicks.

3.) 06 Jan 2021 14:42:44
Funny how peoples opinions have changed. I seem to remember when Marcal, Air Nouri, Semedo, Vitinha, Silva and Hoever were signed, most were saying how well Nuno and Shi had done. So so fickle.

4.) 06 Jan 2021 14:55:34
Fickle indeed Jas M.

5.) 06 Jan 2021 15:51:51
Jeff Shi may well be overseeing the scouting function or whatever the modern term for it is, but I would imagine the recommendations are still being made by the team who worked under Thelwell. Surely Nuno would set the football parameters and Jeff the commercial parameters of any potential signings. Therefore how relevant and how much input did Kevin and Laurie have!

6.) 06 Jan 2021 16:22:13
Not really fickle, everyone likes to think new signings are going to be an upgrade, but we hadn’t seen ‘em play then, might be in a minority but imo players who’ve left were better than those brought in. Time to back Nuno big time, if he has any say on transfer matters.

7.) 06 Jan 2021 17:32:33
OK not all the fans but certainly the vast majority were singing their praises and now want them out.

8.) 06 Jan 2021 18:12:46
I posted 4/ 10 at end of window which I reduced rapidly thereafter.
Marcal however is good and I think Hoever will be as well whilst Semedo will probably be ok
In reality the problem is not the players bought but the ones that weren't i. e. ones ready to play now and in the positions we needed.
Additionally given our FFP situation I was not happy at the fees and wages dolled out so recklessly for players who were bought on their potential to contribute at some undetermined date in the future.
These fees/ wages will impact what we can do this window and sadly in several future windows.
But Jas of course you are correct but we are all fickle about some things aren't we? Particularly those of us with too much time on our hands who are getting old and emotional.
I find that I'm far more passionate about the team now that we have started winning (surprise that - although I was a massive and v proud fan when we were in the 3rd an 4th divs - the Martyr in me! ) and so these days I regret to say that totally unreasonably I want it all and I want it now!
Sorry!

If you google Football petition you will find the link to get fans back in the ground.
As Coady said it is getting harder to play without fans and even if not many are allowed in it will be something.
