A report is saying Man City want to sign ain't Nori before the club wolrd cup for 45 mill. Me sell him get Bueno back and buy James Mcatee for 25mill plus pay Angers the 10 mill we owe.

So hang on, we lose a player that played in all but 1 Prem match this season and they lose a player who can't get into their team and is also unlikely to get into ours?! And what do we make out of it, £10m which wouldn't even be half of what we need to replace him?!
Na, your OK cheers I'd sooner keep one of the only creative players that our Sqaud now has left!

Bullysboy 11 we have Beuno to come he's been playing champions league football and Mcatee is one he'll of a player. He has played for MC and scored goals but MC are buying so even less chance of playing.

Bueno has been playing well but (for most matches) at much lower level and has also still had three injuries this season. So yes bring him back but use him for squad depth (like any other team with genuine aspirations would do)!
As for McAtee he's a decent player, but he's been stuck behind Nunes this season which frankly says about as much as I need to know! Also McAtee has had one decent season in the Champ how then is he supposedly worth £25m while RAN is only worth £45m?! This looks like Hooever mark two to me, we lose a quality player and gain a wage burden that we have to send to the Champ to actually look any good! ?

Agree BullysBoy. Bueno is good but AIT is the better attacking option. If we sell, we need someone equally as good if not better. AIT got 7 assists last season and Bueno is nowhere near those levels.

Also, if McAtee signs, who does he displace?

No point signing McAttee, he'll just end up warming the bench alongside his old teammate Tommy Doyle. It seems VP doesn't use home grown players, or Academy graduates to that matter. Don't know why we bother with the Academy at all they never produce any one of note.

Better attacking option? Not sure about that Wandering. Check his assist against Milan in the Champions League. Bit more suspect defensively though.

Who does he displace? Given that we're probably losing nigh on half the squad that's the least of our worries. It's a 16 man game these days and gone are the days when the starting eleven was the be all and end all. At the moment though Larson will be feeling pretty lonely.

Just seen that City value RAN at £30-35m we value him at £40m, why do we come up with low valuations on our players, don’t get it, surely he is a £50m player. Either way, start high, they start low, we meet in the middle but start at £50m. If he were a City player they would ask for £60m. Rant over, just disappointing don’t really want him to go tbh.

We could end up with a better team next season, I say this by way of having a team where everyone plays for the team rather than the team playing for the star players. Look at Fulham, Bournemouth, Palace, Brighton, Forest all perform at a consistently good standard and no big time Charlie’s in their teams. Bueno looked very decent when he’s been in the team, so no worried about him defensively, after all Ait Nouri is very good defensively either.e Bueno would also be cover as the left sided CB, like Doc does on the right. We need some decent number 10’s and a centre forward

I think the money we receive from the Cunha and AIT deals will see us buy 3 players as well as having Bueno back. So our squad depth will be deeper.

All seems very quiet at the moment on incomings, normally plenty of rumours, what happened to Yuri Alberto thought we were interested, hope things are happening behind the scenes. Anyone know when the transfer window closes and then re-opens?

Afternoon all, it’s been a while
Since my last post, I think the Cigna and Ait sales will
Only benefit us if the money spent wisely, as u say slinger, a team Of players playing for each other, PSG would be a great advertisement in that respect. Yea both players were very influential this season, but both are not team players, they are more in it for their own ego so to speak. Ait for me, whilst at times going forward he was great, but it’s wasn’t that often he would shine, way too often he would get caught out of position, mainly from being too cocky and doing way too much and posing possession, when a simple ball would have done so much more damage to opponents, he lacks a lot defensively, attacking he could be world class, but he either stops the forward momentum and goes backwards or loses possession, the 4 out of 10 attacks he does complete are very easy on the eye, but for the 50m being spoke about is a good offer. Cuhna for me is another player out for his own ego, yes it’s great to see, but overall we did very well without him, as we played more as a team. The next few weeks will be interesting to see how the new players coming will help shape the team. I for one will be watching with great interest, I believe we could be in for a decent season in 25/26
