GON improved performances, last season, on virtually every player! Some of them out of hand i.e. Semedo, Cunha, RAN, Toti etc, etc . Southgate does the exact opposite! Thoughts? FWAW.

The difference is Preston that GON is with his players every day, week in week out. Southgate has his players for a matter of days.

Harry Kane has been awful in the Euros I think Southgate should bench him and play Watkins as striker. Watkins would add another dimension to the attack and Kane is very one dimensional.

There will be no change in tactics from Southgate. He probably thinks it's all going well. Semi finals of World Cup, finals of Euro 2020, so in his mind the logical next move will be winning a final. He's the classic Nearly Man.
