Statto. Spot on, they managed it so well! Gave the Germans some of it back after the aggressive niggly challenges throughout the game. Kelly and Russo excellent late in the game. Great for the game!

They've been incredible, no greater advert for sport in this country than the fact they had the biggest crowd at a Euros final in history! So proud of them, Gareth Southgate take note! This was a good team that a manager made great! If he doesn't do well at the next tourney then (if she's mad enough to want in) then Weigman should be top of the next FA shortlist! Winning two international cups on the bounce with two different teams is IMMENSE, I keep banging the same drum here but does this not show how quality back room recruitment is the key to success?! Well done the ladies. But they have a long way to go to catch up with men. For a start they have to learn to cheat properly, for example - on running in to the opposition penalty area, dive and roll over in agony if a defender is close by, abuse the ref if a decision goes against you. And be able to spit and run at the same time. So a long way to go girls!
