This is my thoughts, I think we will sign Nunes, Neves will stay and we will get both a cb and striker on a loan to buy option.

I think you might be right rated, traore, MGW, Donk and possibly ran could all be sold and we'll cover his and palinha's fee's quite easily.
That would transform our team and mean even if we continue with 3 at the back we are playing higher up the pitch because of palinha's defensive quality.
A goalscorer and the top six is within touching distance.

Totally agree Rated. As I commented on the Rumours page, if Neves can't go to Barcelona and Wolves rebuild includes what/who you suggest then he may conclude that Wolves will be up there with an equal chance of trophies and European competition. Given Wolves would give him a new contract as well, why move to one of our competitors in the Prem?
We are all desperate for news but the constant droning on about 'relegation' by some as wheels turn slowly is as ridiculous as it's boring. Why haven't Man U or Arsenal snapped up Neves by now? It's the same for all clubs in reality the deals for top players are complex and drawn out as their own clubs, firstly have to be convinced to let them go at an affordable price. It's a bit like a Rubik's cube you can't progress until each element drops into place.
What's encouraging me at the moment and points to Wolves plans are things like a £45M price tag being placed on Alt-Nouri. Wolves obviously see him as an important part of the rebuild and aim to ward of potential suitors or cash in big time if the player really wanted to leave.

I think an awful lot hinges on Barcelona selling De Jong to Utd. the fact is everyone and their dog know Barcelona are broke a$$. Apparently there’s an agreement meant in place from Feb’ to buy Raphinha from Leeds for £55m can’t see Barcelona buying Neves and Raphinha. Bearing in mind they haven’t got the money to buy Traore (who didn’t exactly set La Liga on fire).

Speaking of which, it’s time to cash in on Traore.

I think the Palhinha and Nunes transfers are a red herring. Wolves have come out in the past and said that they will deal with a club and player behind closed doors. They don't like the transfers to be made public and they will not be drawn into a bidding war. So either the Palhinha and Nunes deals are already sealed and we await for the players to return from holiday and sign, or it is a smokescreen and we have no idea who's coming in. Either way, I have faith in Fosun.

In the nicest possible way Jas, I hope you're wrong about the red herring bit. The only doubt in my mind is, will we still finish up with both if Neves stays? especially as we need to progressively replace Moutinho, even if he does another 12 months.
I'm thinking/hoping that the deals are done in principle, awaiting player availability to actually sign.
Not sure where all of that leaves MGW, probably on the bench again, so I can see him possibly going.
