Lopetegui's contract with Seville expires in January 23.I believe he has taken them as far as he can and is looking for a new challenge.

So you want Lage out?

E mate what is your problem with Lage?
Look at where we was last year compared to this year we have moved forward and Lage did that with a team Nuno built and Nunos system.
Mark my words big changes playerwise are coming this Summer.

Lage deserves a full season with his formation and players.

Whilst I agree lage should be shown some degree of credit, you can't argue that on the last ten games we have been anywhere near good enough.
Traore going to Barcelona has been the catalyst of our drop off in form.I'm not for one minute saying that he should be accomadated at any cost,he obviously wants out and that's a good enough reason for me to get rid but he wasn't replaced and that's where our problems lie.
If we carried this form out over a whole season we'd be looking at relegation.

And it should be recognised that in February we had every chance of being in the champions league spots now, ok it didn't work out,but lage as done a fantastic job this year ups and sadly downs but few would have bet on us being 8th, (review earlier posts on here), positive summer dealings and lage can apply his true style, I hope fosun give him rein to get who he wants and that those players will want to join the pack and with ambition. League position will be better than I expected whatever happens. I said 13th before a ball was kicked and we can't finish that low.

Games haven't all been a great watch, but working with someone else's team in any kind of job is hard work. It's hard to judge Bruno when he's working with someone else's players and resorting to needing to use systems he never previously used. Getting a tune out of what he's had to work with deserves credit in my opinion.

Also why would we want Lopetegui? He has never worked in English football, took the Spain job when he had already got quite far down the track in agreeing to come to Wolves. He then decided before a World Cup he was going to walk out on Spain for Real Madrid where he only lasted a few months. He has no loyalty to any football club and as a character I think he'd do more harm than good to a club like Wolves. He'd either fail miserably, or if he was successful he'd be away to a bigger European club before the ink was dry on his contract offer.

We've had some good performances in the last 10 games Watford,Villa Leeds, Everton and the 2 games agaisnt Arsenal.
We should/could of beaten Arsenal twice and the sending off of jiminez agaisnt Leeds cost us the 3 points.
This is never relegation form even with the collapse starting away at Newcastle.
A mixed bag our last 10 games.

Football all ifs and buts.

Fair comments Alex, particularly regards Lopetegui but that said clubs in general show no loyalty to managers, its the way the game is, so hard not to accept the reverse. I agree with you about Bruno, yes the results have been poor recently but over the season we exceeded my expectations.

Can't agree with you about the Arsenal performances,Phil, although the away game was slightly better. And the Leeds capitulation was very poor game management (going down to 10 men is often only a minor disadvantage).I feel that generally performance level has dipped over the last couple of months. The above poster is correct about not replacing Traore but he is a one off. I think Podence has been missed because he brings something different to the table.

I will only judge Bruno completely when he isn't playing a formation he doesn't believe in, i.e 3-4-3. He's a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 manager. Have patience fellow Dog heads as the Under 23's down to the junior teams have been drilled into 3 at the back ever since Nuno joined. Fantastic as it was to get us where we are, but aspirations are now to push on. Evolution not revolution is key. Bal retention is everything in my mind. We MUST have players who when the pressure is on can still keep the more a lot more consistently than we are currently. We also need to encourage 2 touch football when on the front foot as it reduces the chance of a high press intercepting us in our own half. I'm hoping Fosun give themselves over to Bruno. I live in hope.
