So Traore to Spurs is not yet a done deal. If it happens my prediction is that it will not last long. Yes Conte converted Victor Moses to a wing back for a season but where is he now. I'd be careful Adama the extra dollar may be ther but it maybe very short lived, you ain't the star that your ego suggests.

Totally agree Mikebayleaf just like Doherty and Nuno for that matter, just not a good fit. It makes you wonder if Traore is waiting for a Barcelona response, as it's dragging on a bit.
Still from now on I'm taking a leaf out of Phil's book and avoiding further comment (or a least try to) on transfers as they are beyond my control or influence.

Yes, many fans like you and me agree.
It’s just a case of wait and see!

The suspense regarding Traore is ratcheting up. The longer it drags on, surely the less likely it is that he will leave? It seems common ground that any funds for new players will come from the sale of Traore. But, no point in agreeing a sale at the last minute, leaving us unable to bring a new player or players in.

Deep throat. That's precisely what fosun will do. Leave it till the last minute so there is no opportunity to spend it on new signings. Cynical I know, but it's beginning to look that way.

It’s taking as long as some VAR decisions, perhaps they’ve sent someone to have a long hard look at a screen.

Just watched the U23s beat sunderlund 2-1. Chinquinho starting. As you would imagine a cold cold night in the North East may of been abit bewildering for the lad and the surface not what he's accustomed to, but he's certainly got some speed and tricks in the bag. His vision and awareness are excellent, abit too good for his team mates at times. He had a couple of scoring chances but was abit 'rabbit in headlights' and took a touch to many.

Sadly he went off midway through 2nd period, either twisted his ankle or was caught (ref awarded nothing) in the pen area as he was again in scoring position. He looks a good acquisition to me, not ready to start in prem yet,but with acclimatise he's got a lot of promise. Cundle impressed and Samuel's little cameo towards the end could give us something to aim for up front, I'm thinking Samuels/fabio (dougan/richards), ah, drifting in off in nostalgia! Seriously we've got some decent lads in the U23 to add to our returning injured list. If adama is to go get him out hopefully get sanchez and I'm sure we can push on. Come on sort the traore fiasco ASAP.

Abbey wish I'd seen the game sounds interesting. Sounds like it will be a while before he's ready for the first team. Though I don't think he's expected to be just yet. Cundle appears to be a good prospect though!
Having watched Chelsea v Spurs I think if Conte expects Adama to be the answer to his problems he's asking the wrong question! I think all round we have a better first team than Spurs.

Proof Ken68. Could you envisage Adama replacing Semedo as RWB now or anytime?

Sevlow if Conte can turn Adama into a right wingback then he will be able to confirm the right to be one of the best coaches in the world!
If he goes I'll still miss him though. Love to watch him play good or bad, never boring!
