Again gents I think we need to be a little more self aware! In the last few windows we've had players from Lille, Marsielle and even Reading turn us down cause they felt they had better options! Frankly at this stage there's more chance of us signing Marshall from Paw Patrol than Antony Martial from United! ?

TFG- haha, I think it's your fault, I've been agreeing with you for to long! ? I don't necessarily blame Jeff for the choice of transfer but I do blame him for not getting a DoF who would get such transfers over the line. Its not that I don't think the club are good enough to get a player like Martial I just think we lack the right personnel to get such a transfer over the line! Like you've said the deal for Trincao was shocking business, he flopped at Barcelona but we've STILL offered a deal where they get there whole £30m back they bought him for if he's any good and they still get £5m even if he fails?! Then there was the debacle that was the last day of the last window! Basically there's a reason clubs that are serious about progression spend decent money on their back room (Newc are currently concentrating on that before any signings) cause one follows the other and saddly that's true in reserve. And that's what Fosun clearly don't want to acknowledge anymore. let's be honest buddy if we can't convince Danny Loader to join from Reading are we really going to convince Martial to quit United for us?! I just think peeps need to realise that we are where we are and sadly that's a different space to the club that will get Martial?
(Ps- for the record I don't think he's that good anyway, we don't have room to carry VERY over paid erratic/lazy players:)
