That's me done with football for a while now. Today was the last straw. Kante should have been sent off after that clear hand ball. Strange when I heard the 5 live commentator say that because it hit his chest 1st and then hit his hand, it isn't a handball.

Ederson v Newcastle wad a stonewall penalty. Harry Kane should have been sent off.

The refereeing standards have sunk so low and so blatantly in the Big 6's favour that it looks like the refs are employed by the clubs themselves.

I'll keep watching my beloved Wolves but all other aspects of the game are gone. I hope you're happy Mike Riley.

I wish everyone on here a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and see you in a few weeks.

Merry Xmas to you as well Jas, enjoy the break. I understand how you feel, the referees are really spoiling the games now. Shearer didn't pull any punches last night on MOTD2 either. Every game had blatantly ridiculous decisions. Kante gets away with a pretty obvious handball, Jota and the Newcastle lad polaxed in the box, no penalty and so on.
I must admit I feel the same about F1 at the moment over exactly the same issue. You have to wonder if it is sport any more or just result manipulated entertainment, like wrestling.

{Ed001's Note - to be fair, in the Liverpool game you have to remember the ref in the VAR hub is from Manchester, so unlikely to spot a penalty for Liverpool or blatant red card.}

Your probably right ED001, nothing would surprise me at the moment. How Kane wasn't sent off for the challenge on Robertson, god knows. Apparently, refs are taught that if a defender clatters into a forward from behind like the Jota incident, it's because the forward has put the brakes on to instigate the collision. Jimenez was denied a blatant penalty on that basis against City in the 19/20 season.
The worry is that the governing bodies deem this nonsense to be acceptable, even in the face of universal condemnation, but the question is why?

{Ed001's Note - ah but it only applies when it suits them, that is why they deem it to be acceptable. They taught Michael Masi everything he knows about changing the rules to suit the result you want to get at the end of the day.}

All the best Jas.

Ed001 don't even start me on Michael Masi, that raised the bar of result manipulation to a whole new level. He knew exactly what he was doing and why. Again the fact that the FIA deemed it acceptable is the real worry.

{Ed001's Note - it made the WWE seem real.}

The last thing we need in football is when the referee on the pitch is mates with the VAR referee. Too cosy, and too corrupt potentially. And/or, they are both in thrall to the big six.

The VAR referee should be on the European Continent. No problem in this high tech day and age. The video feed will be just as good from Berlin as from Stockley Park.

Merry Christmas to everyone on here (not that this will be my last post before) except VAR operators and Masi obviously!

Kante's arms natural position, well if you normally run around with your arms out like a Boeing 737 then yes they were! Did the use of his arm gain control of the ball, yes it did. So I don't understand, no I don't.

Lewis Hamilton. They are not talking about being punished for not going to the end of season party! Talk about rubbing salt in it!

Harry Kane. Frankly words simply fail me on that one!

I agree the decisions I’ve seen in sport the last few weeks have been nothing short of shocking I really wouldn’t be surprised if there was corruption found to be going on within them
