3 points super finish from saiss.

1st half before saiss goal very very poor game.

2nd half we created some good moments.

The premier league what a farce with the ref absolutely infuriated me I hope I really hope there is a complaint put in.
Players standing cold waiting for that idiot ref the players could pull a muscle or hamstring
Happy of course we won but jeez come on.

Thought Traore was excellent tonight.

Saiss excellent effort 2nd half.

Phil, I understand your frustration but I can’t see how it was the refs fault. He was let down by the technology on his premier league debut and not allowed to carry on without it. Can you imagine if we had a penalty shout which he relied on VAR for and he couldn’t have contact?
It was his first game and I thought he was miles better than most idiots we’ve had this season!
Very good 3 points but glaringly obvious we need reinforcements in January.

I thought tonight was a big positive in Traores' career. He slowed himself down at times and took the time to look for a pass rather than running like a headless chicken, then panicking.

I am frustrated as hell with Trincao though. I really thought he would be a great signing, and whilst I appreciate he will need time to settle, he doesn't have the pace or strength to be effective in the Prem. Plus he has no composure in front of goal. His one on one misses this season must be up there with Traore's.

The defence were solid, Neves is starting to look like the Neves of old and I do like Podence with his close control, low centre of gravity and his fight.

Overall a workmanlike 3 points which is not to be sniffed at.

Tommo I hold my hands up I was wrong last night the ref was no idiot however the premier league need to ensure that all equipment for the ref is in working order.

Totally agree Phil, I thought they let the ref down badly but he didn’t panic and thought he did well. Overall a very good second half from us but again only out away one from 5 or 6 good chances. If we were clinical we would be too 4 by now!

Funny how we all see things in our own ways, BT gave MoM to seiss, Sky to Neves I believe, heard somewhere else Coady, but my choice overall would of been Marcel, ne took a few knocks (he won't be on the exercise bike saddle this morning) but he was a constant in every respect last night, and pods I thought the most industrious chasing around and holding things up from the front.

It's good to see 3 or more of our players all in with a shout of the MOTM.
Shows progress imo.

Tommo the guy who was trying to put the electronic equipment in the refs shirt arm was the one who irritated me a lot seemed such a simple task but was all fingers and thumbs lol.

Statto the only good thing I saw in Trincao was playing keep me ups when it was game stopped for ref issue.

Fair comments, just had a look at the table -1 our goal difference but only 4 teams have a figure of 7 or above and 6 overall in positive figures just to keep a little bit of perspective. We need to score more clearly but not at the expense of the defence, rectify that (easier said than done we all know) and we will be on the next step. Glass about 55 - 60% full but no room for complacency and a long way to go still.

Could the return of Netto be "the answer"?
