Fail to see how offering Traore new contract of £120k will fend off Liverpool or any one else for that matter, because they could gazump it and he'd be off any way.

If he signs at minium I'm expecting 10 of each goals and assists lol that's just the Watford game.

I think the aim would be to extend his contract so we get something for him when we sell, I don’t think we are in a position to compete with the likes of Liverpool’s wage Bill just yet.

Of course no contracts is a guarantee but it certainly makes it much easier to keep someone when they have more than two years on one! If they have any sense they will have stuck an outrageous release fee in there! I hate to say it but it was a master stroke to do that with Grealish contract, it's why they got £100m. If it had just been on negotiations he'd have gone for half that! Big wage and big release fee, getting that signed would definitely help lift the fans 👍.

If we offer Traore 120k a week, our finance department needs flogging.

The problem is that whilst £120k a week sounds madness to us normal folk it's actually not that high a wage in the league anymore! Don't get me wrong it's not to be sneezed at and I know it's apples and pears to compare but for some context here that is around the wage Dean Henderson gets as a second keeper at United! World's gone mad I'm afraid peeps! 🤣👍.

Why would they need flogging?
