It seems that the club have learned from the cutrone debacle.
Why try and sign a player if they don't want to come to us?
If reports are to be believed only Moore was interested, and at 12m vastly overpriced.
If we had signed him and he struggled the club would have been villified for signing up a dud. No win situation I'm afraid.
If Botman, Calleta Car and Kamara wanted to stay where they are that's the best place for them, not at the golden palace.

Agree. Recipe for disaster getting players in who don’t want to be here. There are lives behind these names and it is not surprising that one doesn’t want to uproot his family days after becoming a father and another has to make the decision to move abroad to a place he probably doesn’t know exists with a couple of hours notice!
Renato Sanchez, on the other hand, was allegedly keen on the move. Played in this league before, knows the manager and many of the players. He would be the one I would want us to try to secure in January. Hopefully they have plenty of time to sort that out between now and then. Don’t know how long he has left on his current contract.
