To me looks very promising our new style 42 shots in 2 games I'm sure tge goals will come hopefully like a bus you wait for one and a load come at once.

Phil mate things are looking good. Spurs only just contained us but to be fair Sa made some crucial saves too. I know its 0 points 0 goals but I didn't expect there to be, well points anyway, but we've performed better than I expected in both the opening games. Tomorrow is awkward 2 days after immense effort and 5 days until man u. A cup run would be good but who do we select tomorrow? Dendonker, fabio, ruddy hoever, MGW plus youngsters. But I think the U23s are at Reading. At the mo I'd rather we get something against man u than a stretch against Forest. Anyway Bruno will have his ideas. Onwards and upwards COYW.

The best game of football I've seen in a while we played some amazing football just couldn't score but we gave them a game and half NUNO looked relieved if only traore had scored we would of gone on to win but lots of positive points to take from 2 sides that will be in top 4_6 get away with a 1_0 win I'll take that both games could of been draws just narrow margins but when we finally score I'm sure they will keep on coming no season been won from first 2 games we keep playing like that it will come.

Great posts it looks like the majority are happy with the 2 performances under Lage.
Think once the window is shut things will be settled.
This striker from Cardiff I thought he was excellent in the euros whether he is good enough for us we will see, if we buy him then to me he is good enough.

7m will buy us an understudy but also an aerial threat in the box. That's not going to rectify the CB or AM, and certainly not replace adama if he goes (which is increasingly likely), however if bruno wants to be more direct into the area, which I'd like to see rather than middle/ left/ middle/ right and onwards, then he's not a bad choice. But we need other more savvy incomers too. It's going to be an interesting week, fingers crossed traore neves etc will stay.

Buying Kieffer Moore for any amount of money when we are strapped for cash (even if Traore goes) is nothing short of a disgrace. This is a guy who has played most of his career at a very low level (including playing against me! ) and has had a decent 18 months or so playing in a side who are not as technically gifted as most. He will flop, and as a 3rd choice with no long term future or resale value £7-10m is way too much. This would be a huge mistake, a "different option" up front for me needs to be a pacy fox in the box not a lump to boot balls too.

Matt wolf- A bit harsh describing Kieffer Moore as a “lump”” I go to watch Cardiff play and his game has improved no end he’s not just a powerhouse in the air. 20 goals last season and very impressive when playing for Wales, he certainly puts himself about and at 6 foot 5 would be an option to our powder puff attack. When you think of the money we have wasted on players in recent times is £7 million a big gamble? . As regards the fox in the box we missed out on Adam Armstrong who went to the Saints for £15 mill.

I don't follow him weekly Taff but as I say I have personal experience playing against him, to say he isn't mobile is an understatement. I agree there were (maybe are) fox in the box options. Kieffer Moore is far worse than Willian Jose even half the fee isn't comparable. At the moment we have £0 to spend. Sell Adama for around £40m (as rumoured) and we need to replace him and improve the squad. Cardiff want £10+ for Moore, my view is that is a horrendous way of spending 25% of our budget.

TBH Matt I was surprised when Wolves showed an interest in Moore but if 7- 10 mill is all we are looking to spend on a striker there’s not too many available.
