Decent game. decent performance, again. But it's clear we're at a crossroads and this season could go either way. Still need the personnel we've been asking for for two years now.
Neves masterclass today. Did not deserve to be on the losing side.

He had a good game BUT it was his lazy pass that caused the penalty! If he hadn't done that then he wouldn't have been on the losing! We win as a team and we lose as a team.

Bullysboy. Without neves on the pitch we would have been beaten by more than just the penalty that Sa gave away. Neves best player on the pitch by a country mile. And he's certainly not lazy. Gives his all every game and has done since he arrived.

I didn't say HE was lazy, you did. I said his pass was lazy and it was! To blame that penalty on Sa is laughable, he did the best he could after Neves gave the ball away in the worst possible place. And sorry but if Neves had given his all every game since he'd arrived then he would have already got that move to a bigger club that he clearly wants! The lads got a lot of talent but he needs to find his consistency this season and that means over a full 90 mins to hit his huge potiential! He had a good game yesterday but a game is over 90 mins and in the first ten of yesterdays he was the catalyst in giving a penalty away, you can get defensive for him all you want but it doesn't change the facts. It's also laughable that you say without him we would have lost by more whilst blaming Sa despite the fact it was Sa that pulled off a number of excellent saves?! Look if Neves doesn't give the ball away on the edge of our area then Sa isn't put in a no win situation and Spurs don't score a pen! I know this cause I saw it with my own eyes! 🤣.
