Those who are already slating lage how about you give him a chance first if he does become manager yeah?
Tired of it we are not a huge club yet so we will not get top managers or players yet the sooner people realise this the better.

Totally agree Rated RKO.
What is done is done, 4 years was a long stint by the standards of the mad environment that is Premiership football.
Look at Everton, £13m pa manager with a 4.5 years contract, dumps them after 18 months!
Let's all look forward, not back.

Absolutely I personally don't think Bruno the right choice but I'm just a fan but I will be hoping he proves me wrong and will be behind him just like the squad will and all the fans that go to the games will be with him but he certainly has big shoes to fill but nuno has gone we have got to all go thanxs for the last 4 years it was a fantastic ride while it lasts and good luck in the future unless it's against us of course.

If Lage isn't the right person for the job who would you prefer who is or could be available as my thoughts on some of the names mentioned are:

1) Gerrard - No thanks he'd leave as soon as Liverpool come calling
2) Lampard - he's just struggled at Chelsea who are one of the teams we're looking to challenge in top 4/ 6.
3) Benitez - has experience and a good record but not sure he fits the Fosun model so doubt club have really considered him.
4) Conceicao - has decent record but is wanted by teams in Champions League and has said he wants to work in Italy.

So everything considered I think Lage is a decent appointment - he was a champion in Portugal and has a good reputation so given our links with Mendes he's the sort of appointment that could work well.

Personally with our squad lampard with out doubt he gets the best out of youth and 1st year at Chelsea there were transfer banned 2nd year sacked but the team he brought his second year went on to FA Cup final and won the champions league I'm not saying they would of done all that with him at the helm but the team he put together still did a pretty good job this season IMO and he would be a excellent choice but I will back who ever it is and when I get to a game will be cheering them and the team on loud and proud.

And if some think Zidane will come to us give your head a wobble we are not at that level yet, Fosun will get us there but it will take time, trial and error.
