Looks like the Super League is already falling apart. This could present an opportunity to level the playing field regarding financial input the so called big clubs are able to invest. Because FFP is anything but. Hope the FA have the guts to make an example of these money grabbers who have total disregard for the people who are genuine fans. Possibly more rants to follow.

They should still be booted out of league for starting the ESL even though they left now.

If the news about Man City and Chelsea is true then the ESL is a complete joke. How can people like this run multi Bn £ businesses? Bunch of chancers who, if they don't back off, should be thrown out as incompetent to run football clubs.

All the perpetrators of this should be identified and banned from football for life. Beef up the rules on owners and their responsibilities and impose sanctions on all of the clubs involved including Man City and Chelsea.

I don't see how they can wombourneron, examples will have to be made. But let's also not forget that EUFA themselves effectively shut the door on clubs outside the so called top six by the introduction of FFP. That needs sorting as well.

I think I read somewhere that FFP is in the process of being changed Long`. May be wrong. Perhaps Ed can shed some light. A 30 point deduction for all 6 next season would satisfy me.

{Ed002's Note - The FFP changes were to overcome COVID-19 losses by splitting the reporting period - but still giving clubs the opportunity to get their house in order. That is at international level. At FA level the changes are for the same purpose but specifics have been removed with clubs reminded of their responsibilities. It does not mean clubs can run wild spending money they don’t have.}
