This one is for the NUNO OUT brigade.

This is a current list of available managers who have managed Elite clubs:

Lucien Favre, Maximilano Allegri, Maurizio Sarri, Ernesto Valverde, Rafa Benitez, Leonardo Jardim and Bruno Lage.

Add to this: Patrick Viera, Mark Hughes, Eddie Howe and Marco Silva who are available but not managed an elite team.

Who would you choose to replace Nuno and what would they bring to the party that Nuno can't? You all seem to suggest that Fosun no longer care so why exactly would any of these managers want to come to Molineux?

So the alternative is we bring in a. lesser name but lo and behold, the same people will say Fosun lack ambition.

I only ask because BullysBoy has asked some to name their alternative and no one has so I thought I'd throw out some names to assist.

Our ship to be a top English club let alone a European club has well and truly sailed.
We punched well above our weight but now we are punch drunk
Nobody’s fault, we dared to dream and it was magical.
But now it’s a reality check
If we survive this year, next year will be tougher
God forbid no Raul no Johnny
There will be no Neves, Neto or Traore fact
A penny for Jeff Shis thoughts my bet as a Wolves fan of fifty years plus .
He couldn’t look you in the eye silence is golden.

I would take any of them who have coached an offensive style.
Nuno admits we can't continue playing counter-attacking football but has no experience coaching other styles.
Any of those might come if they get paid enough and have the chance to coach the top players we have. Just the opportunity to coach Cutrone would bring the Italians. FACT!
Our team was third-best in the second half of games last season.
If we can get them to play the entire game instead of just the last 45 minutes, we might be fighting for a Champions League place instead of Europa League.
We'll never know with Nuno, who just seems to be realizing lately that we don't play well in the first half.
We were the 19th best in the first half. How is that acceptable to you Nuno supporters?

I had read rumours that we had Bruno Lage lined up in case Nuno went a couple of years ago. I think he had a very bad run with Benfica and that is why he resigned/ was fired and is now available.

Realist, history has taught us that media speculation is often wrong. This time last year, the media were adamant that Neves, Traore and Jimenez had virtually left the club. But guess what? They were wrong. However, if the media are right this summer, we shouldn't worry as it means that Neves and Neto will leave but Cristiano Ronaldo, McKennie, Buksa, Lemar, McBurnie, Maitland Niles, Trincao, Ocampos, Carvalho and Kouame will all arrive. Just because someone has spoken about his own personal thoughts on a podcast, doesn't make it true.

I disagree The realist,
Our ship has hit heavy choppy waters took us off course.
With the pack still intact,
We sail through,
A longer harder route it maybe,
We will hit the destination that's destined to be.
The top.
Happy happy days are to come just you wait and see,
It takes heart courage stamina to stay on course,
With the pack we will be back as our forefathers seen with the might of Bill Wright for ever wolves we all shall be.

Timmy if Cutrone is such a big pull in Italy then why hasn't a single one of those managers working there stumped up the cash for him?! I would guess at this point all the club want to do is break even. So all it would take is around £15m to make any one of those Italian managers happy and yet the only actual FACT on here is that still no ones even tried to buy him! 🙃.

BullysBoy, there were many teams who were interested in him but Wolves outbid them. Then they expect to get the over-inflated money back after Nuno spent a half-season ruining him and his reputation.
Italian teams don't have the money English teams do. Why do you think he was sold in the first place? AC Milan needed money.
He will go for 10 million pounds this summer because of his great play in the U21 tournament where he was the best Italian on the team.
He is resurrecting his career in spite of the coaches that he is playing for at the team level.

So hope you are right and I’m so wrong

Our Watford time aaaaaaahhhh.

Agreed Jas buddy, I look at your list and not sure any of them would even be as good as Nuno and I can't see any that offer an obvious upgrade. I have said on here many times that Nuno frustrates me and most performances this season just haven't been good enough. However, I think part of the problem here is that some of our fans don't seem to realise the realities of the limited number of other options that would actually come to us! With our tight budgets and Mendes based transfer policies I think there really is VERY few managers that would be happy to work under these circumstances. Of those very few how many are better, I suspect not many. Mind you as I keep saying we could all find out at the end of the season. Careful what you wish for peeps cause I think Nuno looks about done with the whole project to be honest. The man probably just wants to share a house with his own wife again! ☹️.

He's another question. Vitinha was the best U21 for Portugal and everyone is saying we should buy him and play him regularly and he is worth the money.
Cutrone was the best U21 for Italy and captained the team but everyone says he is useless.
Why is that?

Tbf Timmy it was VAR that cost us a Champions league spot not Nuno, had VAR not been against us the way it was we would have finished 4th last season. VAR cost us a lot of points aswell as MR Dean costing us against Burnley the cheats too.

Realist, someone called Duncan Castles mentioned the same 3 players as you at 10am this morning saying that in his opinion, Fosun are looking to sell Neves, Traore and Neto. Just thought it a coincidence that you mentioned the same 3 players.

16.) 07 Apr 2021

Hang on Timmy that's just not true about an over inflated price is it. Cause his agreed fee with Fiorentina was €16m (so £13m) so as I said break even. I understand that there's no money in Italian football yet still Fiorentina found €8.5m for Pedro which as an attacking player was almost certianly part of the reason they welched on the Cutrone deal. Even in Italy €16m for a quality homegrown striker should be buttons yet still no takers?! So what your saying is that an Italian manager would move countries to work with Cutrone but those same managers didn't want to spend the bulk of their budget on him when in their previous role?! C'mon fella, that just doesn't add up?! I get that you like Cutrone and that's fair dos but I'm not sure it has ANY bearing on us attracting potiential managers!

Of course I was joking but he is a lot better than everyone thinks and will come good eventually.
The fans of Valencia want Javi Gracia to play him but for some reason, he'd rather play the others, even though he was complaining that he needed more reinforcements.

I'm afraid I agree with the Realist. I have been watching Wolves since 1968 and have experienced too many false dawns and too many badly run administrations to ever think the pattern might be broken and see Wolves in Champions league or win a major trophy. We have, under Nuno, who has up to now been tremendous, come close in FA Cup and Europa league, but like previous set ups we just never seem to go that extra mile. Shi running the club is proving to be lamentable, Thelwell and Dalrymple going, disastrous and the current playing style is poor.

In my lifetime Wolves have been owned by Bhatti's, Hayward, Morgan and Fosun. Of these, who has brought the most success? I seem to remember that when Morgan was in charge, fans were calling for him, Moxey and Thelwell to go. Now that Thelwell has gone (of his own choice may I add), its a mistake? As BullysBoy and now I say, don't just say 'get rid, get rid', but actually offer a solution.

I get exactly where you coming from SQ the false Dawn's etc etc I don't get how nuno out would make it better for us, yes poor form and play this season has raised major question Mark's within the fanbase but Jas and bullysboy are asking for the ones who say nuno out to come up with what will make it better if nuno is out this is what I don't get.

Sir Jack did a lot for us but he was a tax evader based in the Bahamas and imo a hypocrite saying buy British.
This country the spongers take out at the bottom the rich take out (tax evade) at the top and the hard working joe blogs gets the raw deal by paying taxes and sacrificing things to do the things in life they like, like following wolves.
It has irked me a tremendous amount the false Dawn's and failures of wolves until now with fosun we can achieve.
I never want to go back to the days of wolves fans fighting each other in the stands and in the pubs all fuelled by being let down by the players the club the owners etc.
Sorry for rant.

Thought I'd throw in my twopenneth for what it's worth. The Neves, Traore, Neto being sold stuff has been doing the rounds for a couple of days now. I personally can't see all 3 going but certainly one of them. Traore most likely. I think we'll desperately try to hang on to Neto at least for another year. Neves won't be pushing for a move as long as he believes progress can still be made next season. There will be a bit of a clear out I think with perhaps Dendonker being the most notable.
As for Nuno. I hope he stays and gets his mojo back. It's been a strange season with injuries and C.V., but poor transfer windows have now taken their toll. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Nuno resigned but if that's his plan then I would think fosun would be fully aware of it and already have a replacement lined up and very likely a Portuguese. But definitely not mourhinio. Fosun wouldn't go anywhere near him.
