Team talk time. Jose or Silva. Whoever starts out of these two must produce or swap at 60 minutes?
Suggestions - as they are strikers after all.

Think it's time for another Fabio run in the team. With Jose doing the last 20
I also think the donk needs a rest as it's one mistake after another at the moment, and I am a fan of him when he's on form he's brilliant,

I'd give otasowie a run, 2 minutes against city was pointless.

It depends what we're looking to achieve. If finishing as high up the table this season as possible is the most important thing then I'd stick with Jose, but bring Fabio on around the 65 minute mark so he has more time to affect a game.

If we're looking more long term and willing to possibly risk a few points this season, then as I'm not expecting Jose to be with us next season giving Fabio more minutes could help his development as long as he's supported and encouraged and not treated as a scapegoat. I'd also like to see Taylor Perry given a few outings late on in games. In the U23s seems to be capable of taking a set piece and bringing the ball forward from midfield. He's not PL standard at the moment but would like to see him given some more minutes.

I'd like to see Vinthia just behind the front two, Traore dropped as he is lazy imo.
But i'd say stick with Jose for now but as Pedrowolf said get Silva on around 65 minutes to give him more time to have a impact on the game.

Silva and Jose are just not good enough for the Premier league, we can all see that, Jose is too slow and Silva just not ready for this league. Have we got someone else to play in this position? as these two are not the answer. We are not safe yet and need someone who can get into positions to score goals.

Sorry but its time for plain talking and hard decisions. The result at Anfield today by Fulham is a disaster. They are playing well. Brighton are playing better than us-even Albion.

UNLESS a change is made now my prediction of relegation is going to come to fruition. We are defensively awful, offensively relying on Neto.

The players who have come in are just not up to it. If we get into a serious dogfight with say five games to go we will not find the necessary ammunition or class to get out of it.

{Ed014's Note - Jesus mate, that’s a tad dramatic

I'm inclined to agree SQ. just need to win our games against the 5 teams we are still to play ie Fulham, Brighton, Burnley, Sheffield U and Sandwell.

Posted some time ago that IMO Fulham could well get out of it SQ.
However, even though we are playing rubbish if we can`t get one win and two draws out of the next ten games we deserve to go down.

SQ mate cheer up it's sunny outside we will not be relegated this season it'll be between Brighton and Newcastle.

Hope SQ is wrong.

I think keep starting Jose and bring Fabio on for last 10 or 15 as I think was the plan if Jimenez hadn't got injured.

I'm thinking whatever the reason or reasons Jose hasn't set the world alight for us Fabio isn't the answer to be number 1 striker for us this season.

SQ we are 5 points from the magical 40 points of safety with 10 games to go.
However frustrating and predictable our play is we will get more than 5 points from the remaining 30 points available.
Sure it's possible what you predict but I don't see it.
Boly podence back we will be better than the excellent points hall of February.
just my opinion.

Last 6 games form table for the teams you say are playing better than us:

Fulham 11 points, Us 9 points, Baggies 6 points and Brighton 5 points so I really think you need to reassess who is playing better than who. Over the last 6 games, Villa, Palace, Arsenal, Burnley, Leeds, Newcastle, Southampton, Liverpool and Sheff U are worse off than us. Of these, Palace, Burnley, Newcastle and Southampton are between us and Fulham in the last relegation spot.

Positive as ever SQ. Were 9 points ahead with 4-5 teams below us on less. Back to the fabio/ silva debate imo jose has to start with fabio coming into it 60min time. Dendonk looks worn out so with boly hope fully returning let him have a match out. Moutininho another not upto speed and given his age needs a rest. I'm not sure about otawasie yet and a start might benefit him but still abit naive for prem at mo.
Big game against Liverpool, sods law they lost again today, they'll be sore. We might drop a few of the 9 point advantage but we're not going down SQ. Despite my comment that new shirts looked like relegation shirts at start of season. We should have enough.

What's your plan SQ?

14.) 07 Mar 2021
07 Mar 2021 16:45:29
So sq your thinking that albion or Fulham or Brighton or Burnley are going to win4/ 5 on the bounce and we're going to lose 4/ 5 on the bounce. I'm sorry but I really can't see that happening. People saying Chelsea arsenal Leicester Southampton villa would beat us but we got points. keep the faith folks.

Read all the replies and respect all of them. So we'll wait and see. I'm ready to put my hand up if I'm wrong. Hopefully I am.

SQ you said a change is needed, hence my query as to what is your plan?

I hope Willian Jose was watching the Manchester derby this afternoon. Just to watch Martial and learn how a No.9 should play. Work in defence as well as attack not just stand and wait for ball to feet. The energy Martial expelled this afternoon is more than Jose would all season.
And on your way out Willian, take Traore with you.

Hoping for Sheff Utd, WBA and the Geordies to be relegated. Have a ticket at 25/ 1 placed in November they are the 3 to go.

07 Mar 2021 19:26:28
Just read the usual optimism from SQ. Whilst you are entitled to your point of view there is no way we are going down. You almost had me looking up the Samaritans phone number for a moment or two until I noticed it was your post. Proper prophet of doom as usual, cheer up it won't happen mate.

Don't panic Mr mannering,
We won't go down,
So let's play Jose and Fabio?
Nothin lose surely, what if they click 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔.

I will remember your 25/ 1 wager Wolfie I think you have Sheffield United and the baggies in the bag, not sure on Newcastle but it's common for a team to be dragged down into the relegation fight. ie Newcastle 🤞

COYW.

Cheers Phil, I work in the area on Wed and Thurs and the apathy and depression is etched on their faces. They're accepting relegation and the end of Brucey. Fulham much too good to go down. Worried about Brighton's slump though.
Only had £8 to win £200. Buy me a few coffees.
