Back five. We’ve not done too badly against Leicester with that set up. Haven’t got the players with the pace to play a high line against Vardy. Think there is a happy medium somewhere, with a back five and wide CBs playing a little higher and moving into space, when it appears in front of them. Can have good possession with back five. In first half Chelsea, playing back 3/ 5, nearly 70% possession. The way they are playing is model we need to adopt. Use the system we have perfected over the last three plus years but with more athletic and mobile back three and centre midfield.

Coady to kick him early on ( not in the box) Vardy don't like it up him!

key words - more athletic and mobile back 3 and CMs. We don't have them - ok maybe Boly. But agree 5 at back Coady sweeping to pick up pieces and deny space for Vardy to run into. No idea who plays LWB though and don't want to drop any of our big 3 but guess Podence has to be sacrificed. Neves and Dendonker to give us the best legs in midfield.
Keep it tight and catch them out using Neto and Traore to break.

Think stopping Maddison and Barnes is more important than Vardy.

One of Traore, Podence or Neto is going to have to support the weaker full back whoever gets to play out of position this week, however generally I favour the back 5. A point would be a good result against a side that's consistently been a top 6 challenger for a few seasons now.

whatever team is put out to play well. When in attacking positions much better delivery from crosses and the final pass in the Last third. This will greatly ease pressure off defence. I agree with Arddunby regarding tracking back to support whoever playing out of their position in defence.
We had the good fortune agaisnt Arsenal let's hope we kick on from that.
