Very disappointing our form our performances.
Nunos team selections the players under performing.
I get everyone's posts and all make perfect sense.
For me how I look at where we are is it all started to kind of de rail after Olympiacos away. The C.V. changed everything.
I realised early this year that this season for us is a right off and a season of change. I didn't expect Jota to leave us but he did and we move on.
This season is a season to try new things with the knowledge we will be lower mid table at worst.
I don't believe any fan can truly say we will be fighting relegation with the squad we have but there maybe 1 or 2 exceptions.
Negative talk of fosun and nuno is purely down to our results and performances on the pitch.
But our club is building for the future, it maybe disappointing and frustrating at present but in time we will come good.
I respect all opinions and thoughts
Nothing is better or greater than our club,

Wolverhampton
Wanderers.

It's clearly going to be a difficult season and after that match I think expectations will be lowered. I'm hopeful that we will not have to worry about a relegation battle. As long as Fosun remain committed, and there's no reason to assume they're not, then the future is bright. However, mistakes have been made and can't afford to be repeated. I'm referring to the transfer market, of course. At this moment in time we are weaker than last season and obviously having spent a lot of money, that was not how it was supposed to be.
Nuno tinkering like never before suggests he's not happy with what we've got and who can blame him. He really wanted us to push on this season but we just don't have the personnel to do it. As long as morale stays high, we should get through this and be better for it next season.
Merry Christmas.

Can't see many if any incomings at all. Funny how many on here are now spouting the relegation word. and to think that my one time lone voice is now being joined by others. The positive aspect is Everton in the top 4, yet we are only 6 points behind them, less than we are above the bottom four-BUT we simply cannot go on playing like this, we need to just get through the season as best as possible and try and avoid a scrap at the bottom. Particularly poor outlook when Fosun were looking at CL.

I didn't see what you SQ was saying about if we have injuries to key players we will struggle, now with Jimenez out Doherty by surprise leaving us we are clearly missing both.
Regards to Fosun and their CL ambitions nothing has changed for me, unseen circumstances with c. v. like I say in my post above have changed the outlook.
I see it's not just down to c. v. but imo it has made a massive impact on us.
All the best SQ may you have a healthy and nice xmas.
Hopefully we all will have some cheer in the new year.

We won't be relegated we have enough quality to stay up, I think we should just write this season off as a transition season.

SQ. You say.
"We can't keep playing like this" Fact is, all the teams in the bottom half, with the exception of Burnley, will be saying the same. The word is inconsistent. Too many inconsistent players leads to too many inconsistent team performances and not helped by inconsistent team selection. We will continue this way until the first of those issues, at least, is addressed. January window is an opportunity to rectify to some degree. Let's hope they do it. Centre Back, Midfielder, Striker on my wish list. In reality we might get one of those. Striker probably.

Relegation with 20 points from 14 games - no way we are on course for similar points as last 2 seasons

Sheffield United and West Brom need to be worried and Shearer casting doubt on Arsenal but I don't see them going down.
