Morning all, just a little ‘tip’. Maybe moreso for older fans. Take a look on YouTube for a little known song by Billy Bragg from 1991, called “Gods Footballer”. It’s all about our very own Peter Knowles. A few old memories in the video too.

As one who saw him play. Not realising what I was seeing or understanding because of age. Anecdotally he would have been a top, top player! Sadly a massive loss not just to Wolves but to football. George Formby's "When I'm cleaning windows" needed to be played at the end. Life can be too serious! His choice, respect for that.

Peter Knowles was one of my favourite Wolves players, what a player could of been one of the best, pleasure to have seen him play.

Yes bigwolf Real talented player my favourite of the day rumour had it he and Waggy did not get on and rarely passed to one another I cannot remember. I do remember Knowlesy in the short pre-match they had back then trying to be discreet
