Yes we Semedo need him badly, Time for Moutou to be dropped to static, just plays short balls to save is legs, we need Neves move more forward, Neves should always be waiting to strike just outside the box. Get Paulha in as well for 13mill strong player
Time for Traorie to go get 40 mill for him help balance the books. Don't forget Fosun are good owners but still an investmebt company.

Trahore worth at least 70 million but I do agree with rest of post.

I want it to be announced so I can stop googling it every 10 minutes! As for selling Traore, he’s on the verge of being a 70-80 million pound player. There really is nothing like him and he’s still only 24!

If we sell Traore now for £70m it would be disappointing as on his current rate of progress he could well be a £100m+ player v soon.
As Kiddywolf notes there is nothing like him!
For 20 mins against city he was completely unplayable (did you hear Micah Richards and Carragher? ) and he has shown over the past 12 months that he is capable of doing this regularly if that can be converted to consistently then he is a £100m + player!
If we want to compete with the top sides in Europe you need players like him and he is currently totally irreplaceable for Wolves - who of that talent level will come to Wolves now for the salary he is on allegedly £43k per week - or indeed 5 times that salary!
Don't sell what you can't get back!

So is Traorie worth more than Jota? don't think so 45 mill is about right, there is only one place for Traorie on the wing or on the bench.

It seems like Douglas Costa on his way, plus unai Nunez, anyone confirm
These rumours.

{Ed002's Note - DC would be another Jorge Mendes special. Any link to UN may be older.}

Of course it is all a matter of opinion and you are just as entitled to yours as I am to mine.
I also accept that you are far from the only one with a similar view on this site and I am probably at the other extreme with my view on Traore.
I would have thought Jota at mid 40s is fairly priced - it is the price I put on him when I suggested Wolves would well him in a post about 3 weeks ago, when, even before Wolves bought Silva, I believe he was 5th of 5 options up front or 4th level with Neto
Now he would be 6th - assuming Silva is as good as people on this site tell me he is?
Jota these days in my view is a v inconsistent player who on his day is excellent but over the last two years he has played (in my opinion) well in what 1 in 5?
Traore, as I think it is fair to say, is viewed by the rest of the football world (comments by Richards and Carragher this very week) -- but not by any means all Wolves fans on this site - as an exceptional player. He is totally unplayable, (not at RWB! ) at his best (another class to Jota even at Jota's best) as you saw against City when for 20 mins they had no clue as to what to do other than foul him - a feature we saw regularly all of last season! . If we had taken the gilt edged chances he created amazingly we would have won a game that we were outplayed in for the first half.
He also produces this fairly regularly, hence the rest of the football world raves about him.
I accept that at the moment the end product (goals and assists ) is not as good as we would like but I have discussed this before.
Presumably under instructions he always goes outside (beating defenders at will it seems) rather than occasionally driving into the box to shoot (and be fouled for a pen or score) and crosses to where normally only Jimenez is waiting, ( why wasn't Jota who last year regularly played up front opposite Traore ever on the end of those crosses? ) - although Jimenez does get a fair few goals as a result.
I would say he is not just worth more than Jota but as of today not far short of double - but that is just my opinion - Sorry!
Maybe Klopp agrees with you?
Or Nuno with me?
We don't know and its all opinions anyway!

TheFurtureisgold, Fair comment, but you must admit Traore very often gives the ball away and tries to beat one to many player if we could get 70 mill we should snatch their hand off.
Re Jota he is the kind of player who needs several matches to get him up to his best, yes I agree he was not so good last season, we will see how good or not he is a Liverpool.

You are of course correct Traore is still a work in progress.
I wish he would not always make for the corner flag so that he can cross the ball for Jimenez but instead occasionally drive at the goal and force defenders to deal with him
I also wish he could pick up the ball on the run rather than seemingly always having to stand still to receive it before starting off and as to losing it and taking on one to many - you are absolutely correct - hence he can't play RWB. Turning over possession on the edge of your own box is a no no!
Is it not inevitable though that a player who dribbles a lot will always lose the ball sometimes - that is the trade off for the chances he makes by beating people.
Your points though are well made and I agree, as I opened up with he is a work in progress who still needs to improve his judgement as to when to run, where to run and when to pass. Nuno has though worked wonders on his game so far and I am v optimistic that there is much more to come!
Where we disagree is to where that currently values him and more importantly where he will be valued in say 12 months time - when hopefully we and he will have improved and are playing Champ league football.
I also wonder if we would be able to buy a player as good as he is now - let alone where I hope he will be - to replace him. Not for the money {70m buys pretty good player) or the wages (although anyone bought for 70m with the relevant pedigree will want what 200k a week? ) but for the status of the club as it currently stands.
Look how gobsmacked people are that Semedo is coming to Wolves- we would need an attacking version of Semedo if not a lot better. Players of that calibre have lots of choices if they move and at the moment even I find it hard to believe we would be their destination of choice - otherwise why didn't we buy Bruno Fernandes ( a ready made replacement/ upgrade for Moutinho)
But isn't it wonderful after all these years of relative mediocrity to be discussing if our players are great or really great!
V exciting times for an old fella like me!
Keep Safe.
