Good well balanced report in the Mail from Martin Samuel well worth a read. Includes Sterling "taking a knee" in the penalty area and Mariner letting him off with it. He makes the positive point that not many will leave Molineux with points this season. I would agree with that sentiment totally. We are close to being an even better team!

After reading Nuno’s comments on us playing more attacking football and controlling games I personally can’t see this happening with Current 3-4-3 formation and the central midfield we have I’d like to see him play 3 cm players with Raul and Traore up top with podence playing a Cam role as he looks like he could be a real problem for opposing team in that role.

Jonny - Good post!
You are one of now numerous people who have made the same comment about the central mid including me.
{Do you mean play 3 in mid and Podence as a 10 or Podence as a 10 in mid with 2 others? If the former we can't play 3 at the back and 2WBs as we now do? }
I would note though that we won't play City every week so won't be chasing shadows quite so much and with new WBs - perhaps Marcal and Semedo - we also will be more solid on the flanks giving some protection to the CM.
Do like the idea of Podence playing the 10 role - agree he looks a really calm and creative player well suited to the attacking aspects of a 10 (if not the defensive ones yet! ) and think Traore should be able to play more off of Jimenez - but the jury is probably out on that despite my oft stated love of the player!

Hi I would try Dendonker with Neves or moutinho with Podence playing just in front as the more attacking player he looks like he could be a playmaker for us Raul and Traore can play up front then making us more of a threat just my opinion some might not agree but after watching us get out played by Arsenal chelsea and in Europa last few games, The one thing this formation gives us is Raul can stay up front as he’s drifting to much you only have to look at what the Everton manager said to Calvert lewin stay in the area where you can do damage.

Agree with most of what you guys are saying. I think you can see with the signings that are coming in that it will give us options in style of play that we didn't have last season. Nuno knows what he's doing it's still early days in this weird season with the virus. Fosun are doing right by backing him. The next few games will be very interesting I reckon.

Our midfield gets hurried out of possession far too easy. I think we need a midfielder who's creative, strong, hard working, comfortable in possession and can chip in with a goal or two. Gold dust maybe. But that's what we need to have any chance of developing from where we are now.

Sharesum, I'd be very surprised if one didn't arrive Nuno isn't daft. Anyway has anyone seen De Bruyne I believe he's still in Asda car park looking for Daniel!

Sharesum on last night's evidence, (and even without it), you are obviously correct but even as a mad wolves fan I have to accept that what you call Gold dust, or KDB to you and I, isn't turning up any time soon. {Although Moutinho did and 2 years ago he was that player but time is cruel and his legs now look like they can't do it 38+ games a year especially against the v v top teams}
Vitor has presumably been signed as the new CM and if he is half as good as your wish list it will be amazing.
Meantime we have to look for soln's within our squad and the idea of Jonny's above is sensible.
