Only 4 million as a downpayment for Jota? Hopefully this is to balance the books regarding ffp because we are going to spend 200 million on revamping our squad? lol.

A down payment only relates to cash flow which indicates the Pool maybe a bit strapped on the short-term cash front. As a means of financing a permanent deal it shouldn’t (according to my reading) affect FFP.

Thanks for clarifying. I can't see the Pool being short tbh .

Probably denotes a shrewdness in their business and cash model Wozza. I note there’s going to be a sell-on clause in the Hoever deal, is there one built into the Jota deal?

Probably because Mendez is sorting his pension fund out! Can't confirm tbh that hasn't come out yet.

Just imagine, 5 years ago, selling a player for £45m who is not guaranteed starting for us. That's how far we've come, that's where we are! Long live Fosun Trust in Nuno COYW.

Your SO right there Preston, always good to keep perspective on these things! I said the same when Docs left, he was hardly playing when Nuno arrived! 👍.
