I'm not disappointed by todays result because in all honesty, it was a game we weren't expected to win. Chelsea are a good team. I don't think we played well and there is definitely room for improvement. Jota has not been as productive as he was earlier this season but he and the rest of the squad, with a few additions will improve. What I am upset with is that it is clear to everyone that there is a vendetta to ensure that the Big 6 are treated favourably. Never in a million years was that a free kick to Chelsea. If that was a Wolves player who had gone down, they would have been booked for simulation.

Personally, I hope Arsenal win tge FA Cup because the squad needs a break and the last thing we need is the Europa League qualifiers. I'd rather we went all out to win the EL and qualify directly for the CL group stage.

Let's not feel down my fellow fans. This time last year we would have settled for a 7th place finish and a good run in Europe. We've done that so this feeling of deflation shows just how far we've come. We all now that we are going to get better. Let's all enjoy the ride.

Well said Jas it's not the end of the world it's just the end of the Premier League season. I'D back this team to do very well in the rest of the season. Come on me babbies.

Not to mention Boly was having his shirt pulled in the area too but no penalty, VAR didn't even check.

Spot on Jas 👍 Like you I'm not upset with the result or the position like you say its the disgraceful officials in the Prem. Until they can look without biased then VAR isn't going to change a thing! The match report even referred to it as a dive, so how can they still allow the free kick and why isn't VAR calling that?! Like you say Jas it's because Chelsea are a top four team. That's something I have learnt this year top four are not there on merit they are there because they get the benefit of EVERY decision! Just very wrong and to be honest it's starting to REALLY put me off the sport 😡.

I'm more disappointed that the powers that be are constantly preaching about getting diving and simulation out of the game. but Alonso does that, no help from VAR and they take the lead from the following free kick. Surely this is what VAR should actually be used for. stopping the referees from being fooled by acting?!

Correct jas. Vary as 'let us down' again, funny how much time seemed to be spent on jiminez elbow incident! But none on an obvious dive, and as mentioned above, bolts shirt pull. there's no achievement in cheating that's why Roy Keanes comment that we are not a great time just a lucky one grates.

We play football and and don't go for the diving and feigning to win. Money and any way to earn it as taken over our 'sport' even added time seems dictated by ad breaks. I'm proud of the old gold the team and Nuno and it's been a great season, bring on olympiacos and get that champions place.

Good points above. In some ways dissapointing we took 46 points as opposed to 50 last year against teams in the division last season, but took 13 against the promoted clubs as against 7 last season from the relegated 3 clubs.

So overall gain of 2 points if my maths is correct and depending on how you measure it I would say the best season since 72 73 and a better points tally than 79 80. Bearing in mind VAR has cost us 3rd or 4th and anything up to 13 points it was probably the best season since 58 59.

Agreed we don't want Euro qualifiers again its CL or bust now! Yes we need a couple of impact signings particularly a Traore cover who I believe needs a shoulder operation.

I think Podence could do the job for Traore if need be tbh.

Too small rated, he's a niggling terrier of a player. Certainly we need a bit of muscle. Another point that's begun to annoy me is the moutihinos short free kicks, they seem to be wasted now. We need a kick up the pants and get some belief back, but fair play the games they've played and in empty grounds lethargy must be creeping in.

I predict Mourinho will leave he has been a star for us but I think Nuno wants a midfielder like De Bruyne or Firminho who can worry the opponents Neves can do that but Nuno doesn't like pushing him forward and Traore can't cover the whole width.

Window- not sure Mourinho has been that good for us, Moutinho on the other hand?! In your defence my spell check also tried to change it to Jose 😂 He's got a year left and they won't let him go before that, I suspect he was promised a money making free move at the end of his time with us (I recon Beckham may be after him then:) when we signed him for an incredible £5m! I wouldn't be in a rush to see him leave anyway, perfect player to have around a young squad not to mention he still delivers a wicked set piece 👍.
