Wolverhampton Wanderers have recorded a £21.64m profit for their first year back in the Premier League.

The figures for the year ending 2018-19 contrast sharply with the £55.15m loss from 2018 as the club were promoted back to the top flight.

Where is the Villa fan who knew all about Wolves "financial dire straights", who warned about going into admin. etc.?

Debbie, I think the Villa fan was looking at Villa's accounts!

If Villa go down, they'll go out of business.

Bear in mind they suffered a loss of approx £50m last season and nearly went out of business. New owners came in and loaned them £75m then spent £140m on new players. Villa Park no longer a club asset as it's been sold to one of the owners subsidiary companies. They'll have to sell about £200m worth of players which they haven't got. Grealish is probably their most saleable asset and he's not worth more than £40m.

I'd take him down the wolves for £40m.
