For all you negative folk out there, I know he's not the most reliable but most of the time he's not far out

"If you look at how much money they spent last summer, approaching £100m, going on the back of spending roughly the same amount the season before so that's £200m plus this month, maybe £30m if they get Daniel Podence and Nelson Oliveira. I'd call that pretty lavish spending really.

"As for Molineux, I don't sense they [Fosun] are cutting back on spending, you know, they are looking at building their own U23 venue, they are looking at redeveloping Molineux just in different ways. When he says about transfer targets, I would say that the club in January is the biggest factor in that as you don't see many huge deals done in January.

"I think the summer will be the litmus test for what he's saying there. For all the noises I'm hearing, Fosun are more committed than ever really to Wolves, and in fact more so, they have become more important to Fosun as the years have gone on in terms of their global portfolio of businesses. As far as Wolves go, I've not noticed any slowing down in spending and I don't anticipate one either. "

Frustrating as the transfer windows prove to be for wolves fans' you've got to hand it to Fosun for being hard nosed in negotiations and refusing to be panicked into shelling out more than they deem a target to be worth' as fans we hate it, we want new players coming in when we can see us being an injury away from a poor run of results.
Oliviera was being priced out of a move by his club asking for too much, we made two offers which weren't enough, they've said no' so wolves had walked it's how some negotiations go.
I like everyone else on here wants to see a striker in, at the minimum for this window, but not at any cost'once you play the opposing sides game, you leave yourself wide open for every other club looking to make a chunk of money they might no deserve.
Also media saying Podence is on his way for a medical, fingers crossed he passes and his club don't pull another Reading on us. UTW.

Fosun are nobody's fool. A fool and his money are easily parted: Look at Fulham last season, huge and indiscriminate spending, straight back to the championship. Same might happen to Villa this season. It wouldn't surprise me if WBA get promoted and do similar.

Fosun are playing the long game and are in fact ahead of the self imposed schedule.

I know fans are not impressed with Oliviera but it would be interesting to see what Nuno could do with him.
