Can someone please explain to me the clear and obvious mistake by the referee. I thought that for var the overturn a descision it had to be a clear and obvious mistake, but today lallana’s handball wasn’t a clear and obvious mistake (but was correct) and the offside. well it wasn’t clear and certainly not obvious.

Saying this, there is no point in just complaining- something more prominent has to be done to show var officials that we despise var.

I have said this many times before and I will continue to say it, VAR is there to HELP and SUPPORT the on pitch referee, not to over rule them.
It will only begin to work when the on pitch referees start taking control, the 'I'm in charge and will make the decisions' attitude, and not the 'I'm only doing what I'm told' attitude.

Only then will we get proper decision by the people actually in the game and not a faceless authority in a room miles away.
It can work, it should be there to stop simulation and cheating, not ruin our lovely game.

Exeter wolf at half time I really considered turning the TV off and await VAR's result. The game is ruined. Not only us, Norwich yesterday, if a hand or toe is off side if a handball is then isn't, if the ref didn't blow quick enough (still don't get that) what chance of a proper sensible game where common sense can prevail. As fans we're left in the dark with no one to moan to. The ref on the pitch takes it and the comfy studio based rule book hardliners absolve themselves of any unrest caused. VAR won't go away, and, the damage to our game already done. Who wants to pay stand and wait for digital decisions against human competition.
And to prove a point we'recommend talking VAR not how well we played, how well jota did or Kilman or neto etc. The games ruined.
