Traore experiment must be over now - five at the back at home just invites pressure - three defensive midfielders can’t influence the game - hope Nuno’s got his head down having a new dream.

i'm wondering if it'd be better for now to go a simple 442 or 433 patrico gk, rb doherty, lb johnny, cb bennet, boly (coady needs a rest), rw traore, lw jota, cm neves, moutinho, cr raul, cutrone?

Why Patricio in goal? If Ruddy let 5 in we would be saying he has to be dropped.

On deadline day I came on this site predicting we would be in a relegation battle through lack of investment, and was slaughtered for my negativity; accused by those who are blinkered of being a Baggies fan.

Well after yesterday I have no cause to change my mind. The squad is too thin but crucially lacks quality. Now we have an interesting side issue with Fosun apparently looking to sell 20% of the club in order to challenge at the top of the Premier. Either Fosun are losing interest from a financial point of view-OR their ambition is genuine and need more significant financial clout to carry out their objective. One thing is for sure if it is the latter, then two wins against Palace and Watford are mandatory because if not the cruelty of the Premier will spell the end of Nuno.

@Happy Times, Patricio could do nothing about 4 of those goals, however the first one he should of got to imo, the whole team were at fault yesterday except for the 3 subs who came on as they did make a difference I feel.
Also one huge positive to take is Cutrone is finally of the mark I have a feeling he needed that goal and many more will come now.
Anyway we must stay behind the team and Nuno and hopefully things will improve.
