Do any of you actually watch any Wolves games? Yes, you are right in saying our midfielders (Neves/ Mouthino) do not venture in and around the penalty area often, but it is not that they are incapable, they are simply following the game plan set out by NES. Dendonker is the one given license to penetrate deeper (as with Everton away, Fulham home) so to say that we need someone who can run in from midfield shows you completely miss the point of how the players are instructed to play and you really need to play closer attention to the strategy behind what certain players do and do not do. Keep the shape! Keep the shape! Hoe many times has NES said it?

Nuno can and does change the shape it would be good to have an attacking MF option this is something a number of journalists have also said and Nuno once said he wants his midfielders to score more goals.

I would also add.
. who would you replace in that midfield and who with?
It would have to be some player to dislodge Nev, Mout, or Donk.
Nice dilemma we have these days.

Exeterwolf so we have 4 world class CMs it means we have an option that isn't Saiss

Take Man City where De Bruyne can't always get into the starting lineup but he comes on as sub to great effect.

The way I see it we got through last season without much injury. Imagine if one of our 3 CMs was out for a few months and another got themselves suspended and another needs to join their national team. Do we then play Saiss, MGW and Traore in midfield? Or Coady perhaps?

Our squad is thin. We can play one or two youngsters from time to time. Even the top teams do that. But our starting 11 is by far our best 11. Especially now Costa and Cav have gone. We have Vinagre and Saiss and MGW and . who? Definitely need a quality striker and/ or attacking CM.

Defence is the shakiest of the lot. Coady played every minute last season, and Boly most of it. We have very little quality cover there. Donk can play the Coady role and Saiss covers RCB. We were looking at Otamendi apparently. He is a player we could use.
