So just putting this out there, see what people's thoughts are. Looking at the amount of 'free agent's' available from prem clubs, is there any that people would take? For example Danny Welbeck? Wouldn't dislodge jimenez but would be half decent as a sub and to use in Europa league, especially with his European experience?

Only thing Welbeck will achieve is 100% in the medical room. Much rather take a gamble on Sturridge if he lowers his wage demands.

Agree he's had his injury issues in the past, but with our exemplary injury record last season, our medical team are obviously world class and coupled with tailored training methods, think he would be worth a shout. Sturridge however still flatters to decive and as much as I used to rate him, he is not the same player as a few seasons ago. Was just using Welbeck as an example. Any others people would consider? E. g. Nasri, Llorente, Danny Simpson, Mo Diame etc.
