So, if rumours are to believed. Potter, Moyes, Concencieo, Kovac and Allegri have all been contacted and all have said they would not consider working for Wolves under the current set up.

Surely Guo must be asking questions of Shi too.

Wandering Star no manager who is any ware decent are not going to work under Fuson with there policy of sell to buy that's why GON still has job. Now because of there transfer policy there now saying we will spend money in jan transfer window because relegation is on the cards. It should never have come to this if the club was run properly stop the up and coming and buyplayers we need with experience.

I have come to the conclusion Wandering, that Shi is just a "paper" CEO with no real authority.
We need to hear directly from Guangchang about his plans.

Doesn't Guo have to question himself?

4.) 11 Dec 2024

What questions is he going to ask exactly?!
Guo: 'Jeff did you do exactly what you were told to do, regarding winding down the costs at that minor part of our large investment portfolio (Wolves)?'
Jeff: 'Yes boss, yes I did' ?
Conversation over! Sorry but this regular insinuation that Jeff has somehow gone rogue is almost funny (I mean look at the guy, I doubt he even knows what 'rogue' is)?! Jeff's done exactly what Fosun want him to do because that's his job and I'm afraid that's all there is to it! ?

But why would Guo allow Shi to run the club so far into the ground that no one wants to work there. How is that going to help them sell the club?

To be honest Wandering I've come to realise (a while back) that they just don't really care! If they were serious about growing the club they would have spent money on the stadium/infrastructure which they haven't done at all!
At this stage I think they are quite happy for us to bob along until they want to sell and as long as we are in the Prem at the point then they will make a good return! What difference does it make to them if we spend a couple of seasons in the Champ provided it doesn't cost um much?! You don't get into the position Gou is in if your a stupid man, as such do you really think he just leave Jeff to his own devices?! I'm pretty sure Gou is sending Jeff mails every couple of months with the odd instruction beyond that as long as we aren't asking for money I suspect he really doesn't give a hoot to be honest! Sad but also the only thing which truly explains Fosuns completely laxical approach! ?

Well hopefully someone like Jeff Bezos will decide to buy us and invest.

I don't think Guangchang has become what he is with Fosun running around and not giving a hoot. Fosun is not a factory in east Germany 1970. He is clearly a person who wants to see results. If this means he will sell out or invest is impossible to know. They clearly will do something. Will anyone be interested? Wolves is a brand and premier league only have room for 20 teams in this formula 1 for football. It's a very exclusive club for rich owners. So don't talk yourself down as a club. You are one of twenty in the whole world.

I get your point Skrekken but Gou hasn't had time to give a hoot. In reality we are a very small part in a company which turns over large amounts more than our club is even worth! And your right it's not just a factory in East Germany, it's a mutli national conglomerate with MUCH bigger plates to spin!
And in the last few years Fosun have had to REALLY spin those plates due to very real liquity issues, not to mention having to deal with their credit rating being downgraded to BB- (as a result of said liquity issues). In short Gou has had MUCH bigger problems than weather or not Gary can get the job done at Ipswich! I believe things have improved for Fosun but in the grand scheme of things I can't help but feel Jeff's mail address has probs been auto set by Gou to 'Do not disturb' at least for the last two years (they were downgraded in Sept 22). So OK your right to say he may not be choosing to not give a hoot, I suspect that's just how it's played out. Sadly either way the results are the same for us, both financially and literally (on the pitch)!
Also just for the record Sek fella, I agree we shouldn't talk the club down but I'm not. I'm talking about the owenrs and frankly right now nothing I say could get the opinion much lower of them than it currently is on the terraces! ??

Your very welcome buddy, I just wish I new how to spell liquidity properly (thank goodness for auto correct this time)! ? Let's hope whatever happens things get better soon eh ?

Well Wandering if its true that these managers have turned us down and not just fake news that’s doing the rounds let’s hope Gary doesn’t decide he’s had enough and quits because we really would be up rubbish creek without a paddle!
Cast your mind back a few years when they tried to replace Mick and no one wanted it.

Spot on, as usual, Bully's.Given that O'Neil is seemingly staying for the time being, it seems to me that aswell as a couple of good quality centre halves we should be putting a quality defensive coach at the top of our Xmas shopping list to help out our Gaz.It can't have escaped anyone's notice that going forward we are actually pretty good and that's without our best forward player from recent seasons, ie Neto. On the other hand we are absolutely abysmal defensively and can't defend set pieces for love nor money. Over to you Jeff/Matt.

Well' if has been seen on one or two sites recently that Rod Edwards is the answer to the molinuex dilemma, then I'd say the club is cooked and we would be better off sticking with ofail' I mean Oniel.
Fosun need to bite the bullet, spend some money and give a decent manager the ammunition to keep us up.
Then they can look to sell up and recoup what ever they put into the club.
As laudable as being self sustaining is, it's obviously not working for us at the minute, and I'd put that down to making the squad threadbare to a point that we can't compete on the pitch. Not winning matches and flirting with relegation isn't really inspiring for potential new supporters or investors.

Question if the board sacked O’Neil (fingers crossed) who would be caretaker manager

Also I wonder if big Sam would want to take over for a short term maybe end of season is a wolves fan and was born local just a thought?

16.) 12 Dec 2024
12 Dec 2024 20:01:23
No thanks to big Sam! People still talk like he's the master of relegation despite his last two jobs finishing in relegation! I don't care if he's local the mans a relic of a begone era!

17.) 12 Dec 2024
12 Dec 2024 20:12:49
Local man certainly but never seen anything saying he’s a Wolves fan infact I think he turned us down in the past. Tell you what, why not get Terry Connor back!?

18.) 13 Dec 2024
13 Dec 2024 11:24:37
Big Sam is indeed a Wolves fan and that is the main reason why he would never manage us. He has stated that he could never take the job as he didn't want to be the fan who realised his dream of managing his club without bringing success.
