Not going to lie as good as Andre signing looks.
They have wasted 3 months not finding a solution so we can play 4 at the back.
Andre would have been useful on Sunday against Chelsea as the midfield were far too passive.
But we need some pace at cb and a left back.
Chalobah or Badiashiale and Chilwell from Chelsea would be good options.
I wouldn't mind Dendoncker as a squad player to cover defence and Midfield if needed.

A left back for me is a definite, but I don't think it will happen otherwise Bueno wouldn't be out on loan. I expect the intention is to play Toti there which might work if another centre back comes in. RAN as a wingback with a back 3 is fine, but he isn't a defensive left back. I'd rather play him in a front 3 as Neto's replacement and have someone else behind him.

Chilwell is a good player but his wages and injury record make it unlikely even if a left back was being looked at.

Agree about Dendonker if the deal is right. PL and international experienced player who can play multiple positions and is still living locally.

Despite Hobbs talk of increasing competition, I can’t see Sa staying. Given their ages: why would Johnstone signing if he wasn’t guaranteed being first choice, also why would Sa stay if he wasn’t number one choice.

They have tried but there is nobody available that wants to come to us that is good enough.

Wolves spend money on Guedes, Silva, Cutrone and people complain. So wolves decide to be more careful and those same fans complain. Those same fans then complain about the players we are linked with and then those same fans complain when we don’t get them.

Moral of the story? A section of our fans are Debbie downers and negative Nellie’s. God I hope when I reach middle age I don’t turn into this.

If Koleosho is our number one target, then we will have to be, very busy and clever over next few hours. Get whatever we can on one of Sarabia, Podence or Guedes. All three on higher wages than we would have to pay. Offer Burnley, what we were willing to pay £25 million up front, potentially rising to £35 million, with higher than usual percentage of future sale profit or a lower percentage of a future sale price.
When you look at Southampton deal for Ramsdale, they have got their man for £19 million initial payment. Was that beyond us?
