Not a rumour (from the E&S) "Wolves defender Bendeguz Bolla rejoins Grasshoppers on a season-long loan"

With the number of players going out on loan and/or not having contracts renewed you have to draw the conclusion that the club is confident that they will be bringing new faces in.

We are nowhere near signing anyone ??

Ok realist, are you just speculating or do you have definite info that we are no where near signing anyone?
Because I know different!
We are very very close to signing at least two and announcing a new contract signing so really interested to hear how you know we’re not.
I also know we have pulled back from Joao Paulinha as we are looking at a more attack minded midfielder.
You repeatedly make negative predictions and when your wrong you just stay away for a while. Your life must be really dull if this is what your like. Go on holiday, get a massage, have a glass of wine or something but please, say something positive for once.

The problem for me guys is the level they are going out on! Would Grasshopper do much in the Champ, I suspect not! Is it about the guys coming in or is that these guys going out aren't Prem quality regardless?! I hope I'm wrong but if we keep telling lads in their early 20's they aren't even good enough for a thread bear squad then saddly what I see in that is they ain't good enough for the Prem generally! Would love to be wrong here but we are sending youngsters out before even giving um a friendly, do you do that if you think they are good enough to make it?!

Morning Tommo1970. Really, really hope your sources are accurate.
We fans just need something to lift us.
The Club are so poor at handling their PR these days, it creates negativity.
Here's to seeing the glass at least half-full!

Chaos stop panicking. The international window doesn't open until July 1st so anybody coming from abroad can't sign til then! Keep the faith.

Tommo1970
Being very very close is not a signing I hope you are right,
and these potential signing are of a quality that we need,I think it's wrong when people have a pop at people because they are concerned for their club and call them negative, they want the best for the club of course they do,but looking at the last few transfer windows surely you can see the concerns and frustration

Apparently all the ITK posters in the media are back tracking on their news thereby confirming that they were never ITK.

A few weeks ago they were saying: Palhinha is signing and Neves is as good as gone to Barcelona.

Today it is, Palhinha was only ever going to sign if Neves went but we knew all along Neves was staying and Mendes used this fact to get a better deal for Palhinha from Fulham.

There will definitely be players coming in. I don't know when or who but I think we'll be surprised.

Hi Rugeley, my source is the same one that told me about the names and details of the Fosun takeover before any news broke, he told me about signing Semedo a week before it came out and also that it would be Bruno Lage coming in as manager when all the newsnow sites were saying it would be Conceicao or Gattuso.
My MGW contact is different and family related but unless something changes from Wolves he will be leaving.

So, as of last night arrangements for 2 signings are still being made for this week (not sure what day) but some of this has come from abroad so player not in the country. I assume the players who played internationals recently will get another couple of weeks?

The only thing he doesn’t know are names unfortunately but whenever ask if Fosun are still as interested as before he says a resounding YES!

However, he said that they didn’t make billions by just splashing money around and paying people well over the odds (like MC and Newcastle) but by clever deals and financial astuteness. That I assume will continue to be there policy with us and this is probably there first ‘bump in the road’ since they arrived in terms of progress. They are here for the long term and have a strategic plan for steady growth of income streams and brand development.

All we can do is trust what we have and fans must decide if we are better off now or do they want Moxey and Morgan back?
I’m sorry if offend some posters who I perceive to be negative but I’ve been going to Molinuex since 1977 and I can honestly say I never thought we would be settled in the top 10 of the premier league, watching players like Neves, Moutinho, Jimenez, etc… whilst regularly beating the likes of Man Utd, Spurs, Arsenal, etc… also, after the scrapes with administration and bankruptcy in the past, to know we have owners who have given us stability and have long term aims and strategies I find it hard to criticise when they walk away from a player who demands ridiculous money and a mansion in St Johns wood because he wants to live in London and drink Champagne with the stars.

I for one am backing the owners, I’m backing the manager and I will back the players come August whoever is on that pitch. And for those on here who will continue to moan and groan that we haven’t spent as much as Fulham or Forest then have a good think about where our club is and where we’ve been!
Phil, Jas and the others positive posters- have a great day.

Tommo1970, I'm with you 100%. I know the agent/dad of a current England International who I tried to convince to join us last season. The agent said he held talks with our club a few years ago when his son was a youth and has spoken to the club recently regarding his other son. Fosun are still committed and are determined to take us to the top.

Hi Jas I hope the players you refer to is who I think it is.

The younger brother apparently from work colleagues is rated better.
It fits everything you say.

Great Post Tommo. Been following Wolves since late 50s, waited a long time to enjoy footie so much. Some folk have short memories and forget where we have been.

Thanks Tommo a voice of reason I hope. Logically I've always thought from 1st of July would be when things would start to happen (contracts etc) let's hope that's true. Like most fans I want it now! Patience is required.

Tommo, I've been asking his dad since 2015 to get them both to sign for Wolves. To be fair, Wolves offered them both a place in the Academy as did Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, Spurs, Arsenal, Villa, Baggies and Chelsea. They chose Blues because of the coaches.

He also told be that apart from Man Utd, no club in England can afford to buy a player for big money outright. All the transfer fees are completed via a loan type deal. The best example of this is the Nicolas Pepe deal to Arsenal which was £72m repaid at £12m per year over 6 years.

Thanks for the full response, much appreciated and reassuring!
Like you, my issue is not with Fosun, who have delivered on their promises in the first exiting few years.
I do question the suitability of the current CEO and in my view the very poor senior team he has appointed in all aspects, marketing, football etc
The coaching staff, fans and parent company Fosun are being let down and things need to be changed.
