Wolves set to announce new large shareholder in coming weeks? I have seen . Could be reason for fosun canceling the debt they were owed circa 120million and not much transfer activity

Tinker- this is a common misnomer, Fosun did not cancel the debt the club had with them. What they did was realise that is was unlikely to be repaid before they sold the club so transfered the debt into equity within the club. Now yes from a balance sheet point of view it got rid of that debt for us, that is however different from simply writing off a £124m debt. Essentially they've exchanged the red on the balance sheet for a long term 'I owe u' agaisnt the club to remove the risk of the debt but that ain't the same as writing it off. I'm surprised your contact didn't know that as they are clearly involved in the clubs finances

Tinker- fair enough fella, I have to be honest my own grasp on the finances is limited. And it's not just you, as I said it's a common mistake that the debt was written off when it was in fact converted into equity within the club. It still helps our books look healthier but it is more about good accountancy than some kind of altruistic gesture on Fosuns part is all ?

Hopefully we keep Neves. Nunez probably will want European Football. We can't even offer Euro Conf. Still think we need a midfielder as Moutinho can't play every game and sorry but Dendonkey. He just doesn't do anything for me. Never really bad but also never actually good. I know someone will yell about international level but c'mon.

We obviously need a plethora of players given one of our biggest issues is squad depth. The end of the season was simply because Bruno couldn't rotate. Yet again it's cost us. And worse still is spending on the likes of Cutrone and Fabio is looking silly.

I also think letting MGW go is silly. But it feels like it's to fund other players. I just hope they know there is a homegrown rule and we can't sell MGW and get rid of all the youth and bring in yet more foreign players. Yes there is a premium on English but surely letting MGW go is silly?!?! When we spent how much on Fabio for him to do basically nothing?

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised though if the new announced signings are two 17 year olds from Mexico and Brazil that are "for the future" . That's how much faith I have in wolves at the moment.

And I hope it's not Icardi. With what Neves said would he really be a good fit in our club? No thanks.

We need to get Ronny. Tell him he needs to finish top scorer in the prem to prove something and he can do it with his compatriots. Or some of them. We shouldn't have gone for Fabio. I think we'd be hard pushed to get 45p for him atm.
