Rumours picking up around Forest that they are going to land MGW. I guess that combined with the Traore fund that's our transfer fund if Neves stays.

I accept that he wanted game time but there must be a reason why MGW was loaned out after spending most of the previous season on the bench, Some have mentioned an attitude problem but has he really proved himself to be Premier League level?
On paper he should be and some might feel that he's never really been given the chance with too few starts. Not sure myself, thoughts?

Whilst MGW does possess some admirable skills his consistency isn't there and he can dissappear during a match, not what is required in a long prem season. If we can get a good price for him I would be inclined to sell.
No doubt this will come back to bite me at some point in the future.

My thoughts are I haven't seen enough of MGW to suss one way or the other if he has what it takes to be premier league player quality.
He had his back injury when showing promise brief as it was, after that hasn't had long enough run of games.
His party scandal in lockdown clearly done Himself no favours with wolves but he young and can be forgiven if he learns from his mistake.
Only way to do that is to produce and be an asset for wolves.
He sold then good luck to him.

Personally would have kept but pretty sure he will be sold this week bit of ITK Info on this one fee agreed up to MGW if he wants the move buying club very confident of concluding deal

For me, MGW lacks a yard of pace to be really effective in the Premier League.

He's got good feet but hasn't got the pace to burst through from midfield from what I've seen at the top level. Just my observation.

The fact only Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United want him (no disrespect to them) is very telling. I wouldn’t be too bothered about his covid folly, he’s young and made a mistake (everyone has done that, so lIve and let live).

I believe if a fee for £20m+ came in for MGW then sell
Him and l’d wish him all the best in his future. If he gets to the levels that were expected of him, I’d humbly say “fair play, Wolves dropped a bo**ock”

Wolves continue to make weaker clubs stronger. Do people not realise that MGW has a successful track record playing under Cooper for England?
MGW is not my cup of tea tbh but this could be a move that comes back and bites hard

Wolves said that they wanted to bring in young players withhigh potential but in order for that strategy to succeed the youngsters need to be given opportunity. Where has this been delivered, MGW? Connor Ronan? Sanderson? Hoever? Cutrone ( I accept he was a major mistake)? and what about Fabio Silva - will he turn out to be another big disaster? What does this say to Chinquino, Luke Cundle et al. I've missed a bundle of other opporunities. What is wrong with WW succession planning when there is no succession?

I have to agree SQ, let's look at it a different way if MGW had come through at Champ club and we'd been tied to him after the season he just had would peeps not be excited by the prospect? I think the issue for me (and maybe for MGW) is how many chances the club have we given other more exspensive youngsters (cough, Fabio, cough:) and still we preserve with them. I have no problem with that by the way, as I'm one of the few that thinks Fabio may still come good however all should be equal. I think if we lose MGW we could end up regretting it, especially on the (increasingly small) chance we make Europe in the next 5 years!

MGW should be given a chance. He's proved himself on loan and with England. I can't understand why we buy 'promising' young players if all we do is loan them out and, if they're lucky' they get to sit on the bench occasionally. We're going on about no signings, but maybe we have some perfectly good under 23s already. If we haven't, I'd like to know wtf they're playing at with the young players. Some of them not so young either.
