Ryan Giles has gone on loan to Middlesbrough as well apparently.

I think it will be good for Hoever to have a year at PSV. It may be the making of him and it's an opportunity to put the issues of last season to bed.

A little surprised by the Giles loan move, but maybe it indicates there's nothing in the RAN transfer gossip and we must have someone either most likely being promoted to cover Semedo at RWB, as although Johnny can play there, we surely need 4 wingbacks and not 3 to choose from unless I've forgotten a player?

Bolla can become cover for Semedo he's been on loan at Grasshoppers and I assume Lage will check how he's doing in pre-season.

I think Bolla and Bueno will provide cover on the respective flanks. I am surprised that Giles has gone so quickly though.

Was looking forward to see Giles have a chance next season but as I just posted to E over on other pages we can get close to the rumoured 20 million this time next year for Giles as for MGW now to me that good sound business.
Regarding Bolla Bueno I know nothing about but trust 100% what you guys and other posters have said about them.

Ryan Giles also been sent out on loan to another Prem club with it agreed before the clubs even given him a chance in pre season! Sorry but I just don't get what our transfer policy is right now?! The lads 22, Bruno has gone on record before saying he's a fan but yet we send him to another Prem side before even giving him the courtesy of a pre season friendly? Just bizarre for me and then people wonder why Gibbs White has lost all faith in the clubs promises to give him a chance! ?

Middlesbrough are not a Prem club.

SEV- fair point, think I was having a senior moment and getting my Boros mixed up with my Forests. I still think we should have taken a look at him in pre season to be honest. If we are saying he's not even up to a squad role at 22 is there much point in not just selling? I suppose on the plus side it probs mean Nouri isn't going anywhere soon else I feel like they would have held on the decision.

I watched him when at Blackburn, Bully's, and to be honest wasn't overly impressed.Neither, it seems, was their manager as he spent considerable time bench warming after the first few games. Surely, a club like Wolves will have a member of staff watching and reporting on every game that a loanee plays. Or is that too logical?

Old- it was a weird one because he was doing great at Cardiff and getting plaudits left right and centre then in our infinite wisdom we recalled him just to loan him back to the same league but now learning a new system at a club that really didn't have the time/luxury to integrate a new player into their team. We then followed this by sending him back out on loan before our manger so much as saw him in a training session?! I'm not saying he's ready but I am saying that if he's not worth a token pre season 45 mins at the age of 22 then what's the longevity in that?! Like I said previously I'm not his biggest fan but there's a reason MGW doesn't trust the assurances Bruno is giving him. He's just had a great season and should be ready to step in but instead one of our own is holding out for a newly promoted team, so I think it's fair to question why that might be the case. Especially as I suspect Giles may now follow suit, decent Champs season then wanting a move.
