Ruben Vinagre's move from Wolves to Sporting CP has been made permanent.

It has Debbie £8.5M, almost certainly with Joao Palhinha coming the other way for £20M, probably this week.

I really hope we don't buy Palhinha. He is a good footballer and would improve our squad. I just worry that some will still think we're going backwards by simply replacing 1 player for another and no actually expanding the squad.

Agreed Jas, however apparently Wolves want €120m for Neves (it’s in the E&S) if that is the case land he was sold for that, that money could be really well reinvested. Could get three maybe four quality signings for that type of money.

Personally Jas, I'd take Palhinha anyway then worry about expansion of the squad later. By selling them Vinagre that makes the Palhinha deal that much better as we lose a player who we're not using and bring in a player we need.
