Not a normal rumour . I was talking today to freddy he said reports around wolves are worth around 300million as a club . But the club is part of fosun sports group . If they was to sell club they would want circa 1billion for whole group eSports and all . No one will pay that . And if the club is sold separately the wolves eSports ect would still be owned by fosun . Using the wolves emblem ect .

If Freddy said it, it must be true. But why didn’t you mention this last Friday’s meeting that took place in the back of an ASDA freezer lorry? Jeff Shi also didn’t mention it and he was also there. Could Freddy be on a wind up?

Also, has the ASDA delivery driver / neighbour confirm this?

Why just speak to Freddy. You should have spoken to Rod and Jane too! Any update on Lage being sacked?

Sorry, on a personal note, and as a middle-aged duffer who's very few attempts at playing FIFA, and Tomb Raider etc. was largely rubbish. I am wholly unmoved by the E-Sports thing and really don't give a hoot about what logo/banner/emblem they use, or indeed who owns it. I also have to smile to myself at the valuation of the club by Freddy and Tinkers, and the speculation as to what Fosun would being willing to sell for.

Shi has admitted in the past he is not a football man and is clearly going all out to prove he is right.

eSports is a big deal now east MIDs, my brother run's a eSports F1 team which has driver's competing from around the world, tournaments on a regular basis and advertising is through the roof.
If fosun get it right it's massive

I don't think some on here realise how big esports is, i'm part of a Fifa esports team the industry is worth over $1.1billion it has doubled in the past 12 months and is expected to quadruple in the next 12 months.

{Ed001's Note - you are right mate, it is massive and soon will rival offline football in size the way it is going.}

They will just say they are not allowed to use esports money for the first team or stadium redevelopment due to ffp.

Why is that E from Wombourn?

Because Deb they have other businesses which they have to keep separate from the football side and esports is not actually part of the football revenue.
Match day ticket sales tv broadcasting and sponsorship money will be a separate income from esports.A different genre.
As posters are agreeing esports is about other sports not just football.
Fosun also own Thomas Cook but if we book a holiday the money doesn’t go into the Wolves kitty.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see Wolves next shirt sponsor be something like Epic games, EA, Sony, Ubisoft or along those lines tbh it would fit in with the esports especially Epic games.
