Adama Traore will be sold in January for 50m after refusing to sign a new deal.

If he doesn't sign a new deal, there is little likely hood of us getting £50m for him as he enters his final year. I doubt we'd even be offered the £30m Spurs are said to have tabled in January.

Consider this, where does Traore fit in the New Year when the front three will probably be Neto, Jiminez and Hwang.? Don't hesitate, take the money and keep the fee and the wages he will demand for new, quality signings.

Mike
It will be a lovely problem to have won't it!
I wouldn't discount Podence either and Trincao will also have his fans.
At the moment if we can get Traore playing as he did in the first 3 games of the year - but with Jimenez and hopefuly now Hwang firing as well - we could be scarily strong going forwards.
With Coady now seemingly looking his former self as well and driving the defence things are looking up.
At the moment my biggest "concern" player wise is Semedo who seems to have lost confidence and is playing too conservatively.
But he is one of the better RWBs in the league and (like Jimenez and Coady who also struggled earlier on in the season) just needs to be given time and space to get his head sortedk and he will be fine.
Don't forget Otto who is one of the best LBs in the league will also return soon.
If in Jan we can get a CM in to allow Moutinho some rest and rotation and a CB in to cover Saiss and Boly's abscence in Africa we will be well set!

Imo if Traore doesn't start having an end product and a consistent end product like others have said above we won't get anywhere near £50 million if he leaves us.

Agree with Neto back Lage will be spoilt for choice,
Trincio Neto hwang jiminez silva (Traore or not)

A possibility if it turns out Traore leaves with the freed up funds plus the money shi says we had last window buy a top class midfielder and/ or a centre back which we have clearly all wanted or want.

Stick with the faith and imo in the long run we ALL will be very happy indeed.

Being wolves is magic and I love it.

Phil - I think you have to be careful about being sucked into this "he has no end product" debate and not judge him via Ceefax statistics but by his performances on the pitch
If you look how the real experts view him - the other 19 Premier League managers - you will see that they know his true value which is why they double, treble and even quadruple mark him and (therefore must) leave other Wolves players in oceans of space unmarked.
They devise defensive schemes to counter him and foul him at every opportunity.
Despite this (and the fact that when we attack there is often only 1 player to pass to - you need someone to assist to get an assist) he still creates 2 or 3 good chances every game and as Marcal did once on Saturday puts balls into places players should be. It is not his fault that they aren't there or if they are the chances aren't taken.
{If he is to stop (under pressure from 4 opponents) scan the horizon for a supporting colleague before passing that will often mean hitting the ball 30 yards backwards and look at the furore that casused when Moutinho did it once last week! }
When Jimenez was fit and Jota and Doherty were supporting him he did more than ok statistically.
Sadly of late none of those things have been available to him and he has struggled statistically.
If Hwang and Jimenez get upto his speed we and he will be fine.
ps you missed out Podence?

Thefutureisoldgold.
Ok mate each to their own thoughts,
I stand by my clear opinion.
Hope it turns out the best outcome regarding Traore however it turns out.
When I was at the man utd game I thought of you when I was close up watching Traore leaving 2 3 utd players for dead, I thought I wish Thefutureisoldgold was sitting next to me.
Yes podence too.

Phil that would be great - plenty of debate but hopefully lots of genuine support for the team!
ps do you follow Sofasport - it is a multi sport statistical analyis tool that looks at a plethora of data to come up with ratings for players - amongst other things.
Traore is currently ranked 13th in the Prem (with one or two of those above him having only played a few games - eg Chalobah of Chelsea) . Neves at 49 is our next highest ranked player.
Obviously everything is an opinion but other than by Wolves fans it seems he is v v highly rated and I am scared he will leave (for peanuts) and we will never see his like again at the Wolves - as I have said before he is in my view the best player in my lifetime to play at Wolves.

I'm with TFIOG Traore is one of a kind (other players have pace, other players have power but none have as much of both as Traore) . Plus for someone who is 5'9 - 5'10 he wins his fair share of headers and has great dribbling skills. I'd be disappointed to sell for £75mill but won't be surprised if we have to accept well below that if he doesn't sign a contract extension.
For all those who don't rate him how often does he get you on your feet as he goes past players? His end product is improving he does now look up so is likely to improve further in that respect so I for two would be sad to see us sell him.
