Season turning into a bit of a disaster now losing to the mighty Brighton, won’t be too long before we are dragged into a relegation battle, we know after Jimenez injury we would require a forward what’s the betting we end up waiting last day of the transfer window to bring in some has been forward, get Costa in now to save the season.

Enough of this lol. We're not getting anywhere near into a relegation battle and I'd imagine once Boly and Donk are back we will be alright . A forward we definitely need yeah and I'd hope we get one asap.

Pertonwolf, I said at the end of last season we would be in a relegation battle-we are in one . Other teams have several games in hand on us, but don't have to pick up that many points to sink us right down. Poor management and administration, that began once Dalrymple left. It's a straight shoot out between Wolves and Brighton as I see it-you can forget Burnley, who have now been taken over.

SQ, so what is the solution. The easy answer is buy buy buy but then what do you do with Dendoncker, Boly, Podence, Marcal, Otto and Jimenez or indeed the players bought in to replace them when they ain't getting a game? We just happen to have suffered a spate of injuries all at the same time and the younger players have had to fill in out of necessity.

Also SQ you are being more than a little dramatic to say we are in a relegation battle at this stage, as well you know! The nearest team to us would have to (literally) double the points they've managed to muster ALL season so far just to be equal with us! Now I know what your going to say, but they have games in hand and they do. But clearly (thanks to Nuno:) you've forgotten what life's like down there, to 'just win your games in hand' is FAR easier said than done. I accept we are in a tough spot and could well still drop down some spaces BUT you are choosing to see it as a relegation battle when you know FULL well that simply isn't the case at this stage! 🙄.

In actual fact SQ we are 11 points from the zone BUT 11 points off the title as well! By your reckoning we are as much in a relegation fight with Fulham as Liverpool are in a title challenge from us! See we can all choose see the situation in a different light if we WANT to enough 🤣.

Just to point out that we didn't lose to Brighton. It might have felt that way, but I'm fairly sure it was a draw.

Sagged off? That's a new one on me but it sounds interesting. Spending £35 mill on an unproven 18 year old and a right back from Barcelona doesn't smack too much of a selling club. Liverpool fans probably said similar things when they sold Sterling, Suarez and Coutinho. Where are Liverpool now?
