Juventus want Traore now and have asked about a swap deal with Paulo Dybala, what is this Dybala like? anyone know.

He's a very good player but although I've mentioned the Neto to Juve rumour, this is a case of the media having nothing to do so they make up stories.

Saw this to Nelly. I'd take Dybala any day of the week! Can play numerous positions and especially good in the No.10 role which we desperately need.

I'd say the Traore situation looks the most likely something happening. Said it was a concern a few weeks back that he hasn't signed a new contract.

Lots of media stating he is unhappy not to be starting because he hasn't put pen to paper. Whether there is anything in that or not. Could be rubbish

Fact remains he is the most explosive winger in the world, completely unplayable at his best. We won't get top dollar for him without the new contract +playing time. Players invariably get sold when contracts aren't signed.

Unplayable - that’s obviously what Nuno thinks, looks like a repeat of the Jota situation, we’ll have to settle for watching our World - beaters on TV playing for the “big Clubs”.

As Leicester and Southampton and indeed all bar the big 6 have had to do in recent times, in fact even Spurs and Arsenal have been raided in the not too distant past by MU and MC respectively.
However we are v sensibly run and Nuno does seem to have a great relationship with the squad so hopefully we can hold it together better than others have done and if the kids we have bought over the last few transfer window develop as hoped maybe we can cross over and become a " big team" ourselves.
Fingers crossed!

This is the same Paulo Dybala that pulled out of a move to Spurs when they were a champs league team right? The same player Juve have previously said they want to make a focal point of the team?! The same player in fact that has recently asked for a rise on his already HUGE wage?! Call me a sceltic but I suspect that him being tied to us and Juve being tied to Neto are all just part of the negotiation process! Just done for bargaining power, Juve making him think they are looking at alternatives then him being tied in a swap to show he's not irreplaceable?! In fact as if to prove the point here's a direct quote from his agent "I have read the rumours in the newspapers through the last few days and they're completely false"
Don't get me wrong would been very exciting if it had been true! Who knows what goes on but how often is there any truth in these rumours, I'd say 1 in 10 would be a generous estimation in my experience! COYW.

I don't understand what the contract has to do with anything. He is under contract to us. The next team will sign him to a longer contract, if they wish.
If they want him, they have to pay us what we want unless there is a release clause that is lower than that.

It has everything to do with it.

You might be right in alluding to the contract he currently has until 2023 is little cause for immediate concern. but for immediately securing we get the best out of the long term return it definitely is.

For one, almost all of our top stars have extended by 2 or 3 years. Raul for instance. That massively puts suitors off and avoids other teams making cheeky/ tempting offers.

What I mean is we are unlikely to loose a player like that for anything other than a stupidly high price tag

You throw Adama's so called 'relaxed' contract stand off into the mix and everyone starts to question things. Those cheeky offers might start rolling in. If he isn't committing his long term future to the club in the next year, I would put money on him leaving. Genuinely think Nuno see's him as part of our future. What a success story, but this does need resolving sooner rather than later.
