Don’t normally comment but pretty sure this name has been plucked out the air as every other post I’ve read from Wozza about signings have already been on Twitter or else where before he mentions them. Anyway each to there own.

If by from the air you mean Twitter then you're right. Spurs were interested pre Bale and Bailly wants to play in the P. L so apparently he's been "offered" to us.
My source is Twitter too 😁😁.

Exactly what I meant, it comes up on social media somewhere first but he claims to have an inside source.

Tim Spiers intimating that Wolves incomings are perhaps done, so not sure if the Costa rumours have any legs?

Happy the way its gone but would have expected a RCB so Boly can switch back to LCB. Maybe I am being greedy.

It's difficult to see who is available and willing to sign at this stage.

I would go after Rudiger from Chelsea on loan (so he doesn't play against Chelsea) with option to buy. He wants to play as the Euros are next year. Boly and Saiss looked suspect on Monday. Its about the percentages going for top 6-4.small gains.

Leon Bailey would offer something really different against bottom half teams. Douglas Costa is a bit old. Saying that I would have kept Jota.

Still need that attacking midfielder like an Olmo or Kessie. Would be in dream land then. Any news on marcals injury? Telles is still available. 😉.

Have we suddenly forgotten about Ki Jana Hoever, a right sided CB?

Nuno said we will be working till the end of the window in October. tells me an incoming or two could be possible.

A high quality CB makes sense (that Nunez from Bilbao linked not too long ago)

That said could we be in line for a winger coming in. Think most Wolves fans I know are delighted with this window.

Could we go one further make it the perfect one.

No Jas I haven't forgotten.

However I see Hoever, Vitinha and Silva as ones for the future or the bridge between our academy squads and the first team. Or a new culture in our youth of raising the standards to support our first team.

Dont expect amazing things straight away. They are 2 years younger than Neves and Jota when they arrived. Vitinha is 20 yrs old granted so maybe we should expect more?

Madman - don't disagree!
Isn't it incredible though that we can spend £45m + the Vitnha deal (loan fee plus future transfer fee) on 3 players who you describe as a bridge!
How things have changed from the days when we looked at Coventry's front two and signed Leon Clarke rather than Callum Wilson as we couldn't afford (or wouldn't afford) the more expensive option - great decision that turned out to be!
If am being greedy I would like to add a couple more to the ready to play now squad and at the danger of looking like a complete hypocrite - having previously said no to both AMN and the Ox, (assuming fit! ) I do like their versatility, pace and energy.
However I guess it depends on the fees you have to pay to get them
It does seem that some clubs are starting to feel the strain and maybe like Spurs tend to do we need to prey on the weak and vulnerable who need to sell.
Wolves would appear well positioned to know who they are and to act.
In England even big clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and MU clearly need to sell to buy/ manage squad sizes/ expectations.
Maybe we can make some cheeky bids for their young but as yet unloved players - can't actually think of anyone I want from MU but the others have a few.

Cheers thefutureisoldgold.

Absolutely mental mate going from Mcalindon to Semedo in 7 years is mental.

All we are doing is diversifying the risk with our young acquisitions. Can see some going on loan for 6 months to Monaco and the like.

I can't really say who we will sign next. I'm sure Nuno has a tactical solution for this season. But it seems 3 at the back and pace in attack is still his aim. What will supplement the wonder kid from Porto is the question.
