According to the Mail "Porto have rejected a £22m bid from Wolves for winger Jesus Corona. The 27-year-old Mexico international has a £27m release clause in his contract".

Jesus wept Debbie! If we want him that badly pay the extra £5 mil to activate the release clause. The Arsenal saga would have taught us that. That's if the story is remotely true by the way. The Mail is as bad as the Birmingham one.

I haven't heard anything of Paul Tamworth recently. I guess he's not thrilled that Nuno will probably sign a new contract. I wonder when PT last actually liked a Wolves manager. let's tick them off:

Nuno: definitely not!
Lambert:?
Zenga?
Jackett:?
Saunders:?
Solbakken:?
Clipboard Connor:?
McCarthy:?
Hoddle:? Maybe?

{Ed001's Note - Paul had his accounts deleted, he kept straying outside the T&C and acceptable behaviour with his name calling of anyone who had a different view from him.}

I might be mistaken but i'm sure birmingham mail and daily mail are owned by the same company.

{Ed002's Note - You are mistaken.}

Birmingham Mail is owned by the Mirror group.

Not surprised to hear that about PT, Ed001. True fans know there will be ups and downs. Nuno has done a terrific job in his three years. Virtually everyone on this site wants him to sign a new contract. It's a shame Paul couldn't see this.

Ed 002 according to Wikipedia the Birmingham Mail and Daily Mirror are both owned by Reach.

{Ed002's Note - Yes they are. That was not the question.}

Wonder what name Tamworth Paul will come back as?

Paul Tamworth got into some silly business (on the banter page) he accused the PL powers that be of being "snowflakes" back in March at the start of public gathering restrictions.

He literally backed every manager until things didn't work out, then he'd turn on them with vitriol. When Dean Saunders became manager his sign off was "In Deano we trust" that didn't last long.

And as per the Titter line went, if anyone celebrated anything Wolves he classed them as "happy clappers"

As a polite contrast SQ has had his rightful moans and groans (and please SQ I say this with all the respect in the world) but had the deceny to say why he felt that way, and after doing so recently a lot in here gave kudos/ respect. At least SQ provided a rationale for his perspective.

PT is just a moaner, he'd moan no matter who he supported, he's more fickle than a Real Madrid supporter. Rant over.

PT. done wrong by name calling posters on here who thought different to him as the Ed said.
Social media can be a dangerous place for people who are of ill mind.
Sometimes people forget this and the ed's have done what they are obliged to do, ban people like PT.
For months and months on here has been flooded with the same tit4tat posts name calling not just from PT
Glad I not reading it no more as its all changed on here.
Mostly down to SQ.
So SQ thankyou but you did at times puzzle and blow my mind with your negativity. lol just being honest I probably done the same to you being super positive.

I didn't think PT was out of order I didn't agree with him much but he's been here a long time and was probably the most prolific contributor when I joined a few years ago.

{Ed001's Note - that's because I would delete half of his comments. Every time someone disagreed with him, he would get aggressive and nasty. He just went too far this time.}

Although new to the site this last couple of weeks one of the things that makes this site so much better than some of the others - I have stopped reading "the football network" because of this - is the fact that people on this site are able to express contrary view - bulls and bears - without receiving personal abuse.
We are surely all Wolves fans and just want the team to do well.
One thing though that does surprise me is the criticism of our own players on this site.
Some us bizarrely, despite the amazing success of the last couple of years, seem to rate our players far less than fans of other teams rate either their own team's players or it would appear even ours!
Have we already become blase and forgotten the last 50+ years of hurt?
Maybe I am over loyal - certainly comment was made over my unwillingness to see change - but for me all the while your are wearing the shirt you should be supported.
Once you are gone though - its the king is dead long live the king for the new player.
I have bored you all with my love of Doherty but I hope he is awful for Spurs.
However I am shocked by the occasional disrespecting of Jimenez (? ) and truly amazed by the attitude of many to Traore () .
As I said though we are all entitled to our opinions!

I agree Rated, also just to say I know the thread PT was pulling at around the time he was banned and suspect that he'd already been right up to the borderline of acceptable offense! I know cause Jas and myself called him out on it, I was surprised I had not got a response but now realise that I probs did and hats off to the Ed that I never had to read that vile stuff! Like others I am all for free speech when it's about the team however as we all know that does not and absolutely should not be an excuse for personal abuse or offensive language! After all its just football, no need to get personal. If that's what's he was doing then we are better off without, onwards and upwards 👍.
