Vítor Ferreira and Tomás Esteves should both be announced by the end of the week (Esteves is now considered a done deal) .

Pepê (Grêmio) is not yet believed to be a done deal. There are some negotiations still going on with Grêmio who are reluctant to let him leave this window. A deal is *likely* to get over the line in the next few days but by no means a dead cert just yet apparently.

There may well still be a few outgoings from Wolves mostly loans. However Saiss potentially might be moved on depending on which other deals we manage to get over the line.

There are still multiple discussions going on regards a CB and another WB (besides Esteves) .

Some of these other deals depend on other clubs being able to sign suitable replacements and if we can convince the player to come and join the project.

In addition some of the deals are also interlinked in a complex way which is impacted by our other deals.

Think along the lines of we were initially negotiating for one player however that has now become a double or even triple negotiation. And this could also involve a wolves player potentially going on a loan or permanent to a third party (not the club we are negotiating with) . Like a chain deal.

As I say, complex.

Anyway it should be an interesting week or so ahead and if cornerstone deals are indeed announced then the rest of the chain will follow.

The source is a long standing contact that over the years has been pretty reliable, but as always read into it what you will.

All the best.

Thanks for that TrueWolf! I'd best put the kettle on, it could take a few strong coffees this.

Good summary truewolf. The housing market is a similar example, but maybe less complex. A deal for an expensive house could depend on the sale of a cheap property several rungs down the ladder, as the sales may be interlinked. Football transfers these days are rarely simple as the money involved is so huge.

The ride goes on, not too much concern over ffp with Fosun. I expect they have done their financial homework.
