Assuming that Jimenez isn't crocked in some way that we don't know about, he will not be sold for £18 mil. He must easily be worth what we paid for him, even in this depressed the virus market. But, given his age, 29, he's not going to fetch the mega money that Jota or Traore would fetch.

Load of tripe. 18 mil. Not for sale. Call me crazy. wouldn't sell the guy for 100mil

Offers too much and fits better than any striker in world football to how we play in my mind.

I believe that whoever wrote this report is leaving a very important element out, namely, the club mentioned is Juventus and the price being £18m. What the reporter has failed to report is that Juventus will pay this as well as giving us a player - Daniele Rugani valued at £11m or Adrian Rabiot value at £22m.

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath.}

I don't expect Jimenez to be sold for less than we signed him but it's clear that the media can write any old tripe without checking facts.
