I think Big Jeff said they would be looking for additional investors at one of Fans Parliament meetings. So looks like they are making a move.

Fosun will need serious funds to restructure Thomas Cook which will be more of a priority given what they’ve paid for it.
Although WWFC is stand alone all roads lead to Rome.
With a little more foresight perhaps investors should have been brought on board whilst the transfer window was open rather than when it was closed!
No blame can be attributed to Nuno and his tired players the problem lies at the top and their reluctance to ensure the squad is fit for purpose.
The higher you fly the more fuel is required, there is no destination in The Premier just a never ending journey that forever changes.
