Seems like we have several irons in the fire for at least one midfield purchase. Press suggestions include holding and attacking midfielder and Gary between relatively experienced players like Khedira, Joao Mario, Morgan Samson, Mario Lemina and younger players like Gedson Fernandes Dani Olmo and Edson Silva. Theme that seems to be emerging is we don't want to go over 35m Euros which seems to be reasonable. Will be interested to see what does emerge, whether it includes both a CAM and CDM and whether either of them has been mentioned anywhere previously.

I think at the moment someone who can play in the CAM position seems the priority. Bit more dynamic on the ball. However I wouldn't be surprised if we take an AM and CDM. Olmo and Lemina seem like perfect fits. That squad would be rife with competition.
