So will it be Badiashile or Edson to add to our defence? If we also bring in Joelinton to add to our attacking options does that meet all our transfer requirements? Are Villa going to field a team of centrebacks?

If one follows Nuno’s mantra that it’s the shape and system that are paramount then logically we will need to bring in three players - I’d like at least five personally but maybe that’s just me. A right sided centre back to play alongside Coady and Boly (with Bennett as cover) and two forwards one of which to be a tall central striker like Raul and one a smaller, pacy wide attacker like Jota.

Not ITK but I have an inkling Badiashile could be joining us. Just the vibes.

If, as some say, we're trying to impress Asian audiences then we should expect a well known player coming in too. Perhaps someone already in China like Talisca or Mascherano. Or someone currently playing for City/ United. Otamendi comes to mind for RCB. So does Mata for 3rd striker.

Not saying these will be the right players for us. Just that Nuno will be encouraged to look at them.
